This is sooooo true! The true version of The Little Mermaid is one of the most depressing things I've ever read.

I'm excited about the movie! It's always interesting to see what Tim Burton does with a classic story.

Let's see how scary the movie gets before we ask for a ride! No I think Tim Burton will be true to the dark side of Lewis Carroll, we'll just have to wait and see. But I agree that the remake of Willy Wonka did go off the original story line a bit.

*prays its horror movie like*. I'd be more interested if it actually had horror aspects to it, instead of being "dark".
