I'm not saying Fluffy isn't happening, but I'd bet $50 he isn't. If I'm wrong I'll donate an additional $50 to Give Kids the World.

As promised. And gladly!

I will say though: I'm 2 out of 3 right now. As of yet, no cave and no motorbike coaster. Also, as far as I can tell there's still no electrical to the concrete pad. I do wonder if Fluffy is static.

You’re not 2 for 3.
Oh? We shall see what comes of the steel nearby. If they do get the cave up, I will be amazed in one of two ways: how fast they got it up, or how bad it is.

That said, I remain unconvinced. Ride testing is beginning. How they intend on constructing a new structure without severely impeding testing is beyond me. Especially, considering how standard Universal's construction practices are.

At the minimum, I’m one for three as that’s clearly not a motorbike coaster, which seemed to be the most contentious issue anyway. If I’m wrong on the cave it won’t be the best record, but a .333 batting average ain’t bad.

If you looks closely at the picture in the tweet I linked, you can clearly see handlebars on the left and a sidecar on the right.

That may be the theming, but it's not the seating position. The seat backs are way too high on both sides for even one of them to be a motorbike seating position. One it implies seatbacks, and two with a tail end that high you wouldn't be able to see squat from a leaned down position.

We have said all along that it is a motorbike coaster with the type of seating like Wave Breaker at Sea World San Diego.

From Alicia’s latest post on her site: “Again though, just because this train will be themed like Hagrid’s motorbike, does NOT mean it will have motorcycle style seating. This will be more like Expedition Everest type seats than Tron Light Cycle Power Run. The theming of the train will make it look like a bike, but you WILL NOT be seated forward like on Tron. There WILL NOT be leg braces like Tron. Instead, it may be more akin to SeaWorld Antonio’s Wave Breaker, where you are still seated upright in a seat. Although, this ride may be even less bike-like than that, omitting the bump in the middle of your seat. The Potter Coaster will have much higher backrests too, so your head doesn’t get hurt on this ride!”

Try hanging on to those handle bars at a near 90 degree angle. I don’t think that’s gonna work out too well.

Rockit's work perfectly fine.

And the HP coaster won't be nearly as intense
Rockit is a full-on seating position with headrests and handle bars that are close enough to be grasped without any deviation from an upright position.

At a a near 90 degree angle, in order to hold onto extended handle bars you’d be performing a sit-up, or risk tearing a muscle. It’s just not gonna happen. And I honestly don’t understand why people want it to.

Ummm, I don't know where you are at this point. It has seat backs.
