Yes there is lighting. I believe around the floor area.I never thought about this. Is there any lighting inside the cabins, emergency or not?

Yeah! read my post again please!
"Or it could just be a freak one of a kind accident as a result of several small factors leading up to a unforeseeable accident."
The link in your post isn't working FYI:

LolAnd we’ve seen issues with it too. But at least it can be more easily evac’ed than this fisher price transportation method that screams out of place
I am pretty sure we saw the three bullwheel configuration at this station that you also see at turn stations.
Remember way back when we were told the only POSSIBLE ISSUE would be a power outage and that Disney would have already accounted for it and the Gondolas were way easier and faster to evacuate than a single Monorail... boy were we naive...
Maybe you read some other thread... because that's not the conclusion of this one.
Well, I don't think so unless a mod says otherwise and they haven't. Accident related discussion should be here: https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/skyliner-shutdown-and-evacuation.960547/Given the accident, it is fair to say we can talk again about "What ifs"
Link does not work.Replaced with correct link .

I know, I was just trying to prompt a moderator to fix the link at the top of the page. It's been fixed now.Disney Skyliner shutdown and evacuation - October 6 2019
Not even the first week of operation and there's already been a crash, looks like Disney is just now starting evacuating the cabins one by one just 90 minutes after the initial shutdown. Hope Disney can get a refund on this absurd investmentforums.wdwmagic.com
It has 2 wheels with one inbetween.. I don't know if we ever got a conclusion on the cable routing.

I’m also curious if this station made the line so complex (regardless of the incident) why they just didn’t make it a terminus station. Then they could’ve put ADA spurs on there, too. No line stoppages. I think @Lift Blog even said during his visit that the Epcot line was one of the most complex ever made. That was my first assumption as well... but the position of the middle wheel still looked challenging from the angles we have. This was the kind of stuff I was hoping @Lift Blog was gonna dig into while he was there
