All that work to make the Hollywood Tower Hotel blend with the Morocco Pavilion....
1. It seems to me to be a smaller sight problem than the Hollywood Tower Hotel, which is much taller. The ToT was effort well-spent. OTOH, if they leave it as-is, you'll see the movement of the cars so it may be a bigger distraction than it seems from the static photos. All that work to make the Hollywood Tower Hotel blend with the Morocco Pavilion....
I truly doubt that they will be visible when the stations are complete.Looks like those bullwheels will be visible
Those large beams above the station will likely be used to hang the roof off of, right?

If they want to hide them they can:I truly doubt that they will be visible when the stations are complete.

This video also shows us that the long I-beams will indeed support the roof.
I hadn't previously noticed that the bends at CBR have a different curvature. The inner bend is a half circle but the outer bend is more of a rounded square. @Lift Blog is this common? I haven't found any examples of a D-line with the rounded square.
I believe many people in this thread would prefer they didn't cover it up. So no, it doesn't matter.Does it matter that much? Sometimes, it is interesting to see things like this in action.
Riviera also has a station. Boardwalk is just an elevated turning station. So where will all the load/unload spots be?
MGM, International Gateway, Caribbean Beach, Pop Century? Will it also stop at Boardwalk or is that just a turn point?
Not sure if the gondolas will reach the 88mph necessary to transport you to MGM.So where will all the load/unload spots be?

2. The gondola tower is short enough that I suspect the problem could be solved with a little tree growth. Dunno if Disney is going to work on that, though.
It was actually a little thing called Wishes early in 2005It was a little thing like castle projections that changed all that..
Of course, Wishes was part of it, but, it was never as crucial as it is with the projections. Most of the fireworks are far above the trees, but, still a problem depending on where you are standing. It was actually a little thing called Wishes early in 2005
The hub was de-treed due to complaints that it obscured Wishes sight lines. This was as we know way before projection shows.Of course, Wishes was part of it, but, it was never as crucial as it is with the projections. Who's arguing, but, people are still complaining about it in spite of there being an even better reason for them being gone or maintained at lower heights due to the projections AND the Fireworks. I remember going at a later date then 2005 and there were lesser shows that involved projections and I remember being very upset because from where I was standing I mostly saw dark trees hiding the show. What dates those were I will leave to you, the historian, but, I never had a problem seeing the fireworks... all I had to do was look up. It was actually the opposite problem from the Fireworks because of the trees partially blocking the sky from up close... but, everything except the fireworks were blocked by the trees from around the entrance to the hub.The hub was de-treed due to complaints that it obscured Wishes sight lines. This was as we know way before projection shows.
Not I. Just ensuring the reason for the legacy tree removal in 2005 (Wishes) is apparent to those who may not know.Who's arguing,.

At least use the glass facade so we can see what's going on under the hood...I believe many people in this thread would prefer they didn't cover it up. So no, it doesn't matter.
Well part of the problem was that the trees were 30+ years old and had made it so that you couldn't see the fireworks from a large section of the hub, let alone the castle projection show, the new stage shows, and the castle lights at xmas.
So not only were they bad show, but they were contributing to safety issues with crowd movement.
Now don't get me wrong, I miss them as well, but I get it. You've got a 189ft. castle so you want to show it off and do shows and what not.
What I really don't like is how they have continued to do the firefly lights in other trees on Main St., but there are too many of them and they flash like xmas lights rather than fireflies.
no way of knowing this for sure as Walt is dead. For all we know he could have liked WDW. Many of his EPCOT ideas were implemented, just not in the way he envisioned. Now is a good enough time as any to remember that Walt didn’t design Walt Disney World. Nor was his goal theme parks. I’m sure he’d be actually greatly upset about what they did to his vision of E.P.C.O.T.
The great secret of the whole complex really is that Walt would probably have been upset about most of it, even the parts people misattribute to his hand.
