Another angle of the artwork. It does look nice.

Blog Mickey went. He has a photo of the final tower that went up last night;

I don't know if it's just the angle the picture was taken from, but it looks like the cars will be hanging to low for the left side of that path to stay where it is.

How close is the left wall to what will be the garden edge?
It's possible it's right at the wall. It's also possible it's farther right than the wall taking up even more space. Walkway farther left than the wall seems unlikely.

How much path is to the right of the right wall before the tower and the railing around the boat area?
Whatever space is here will all open back up once the construction wall is gone.

I always find it hard to tell the scale on Disney photos. Even with stuff like the door on the right helping. Looking down a path as it narrows doesn't help with the perceived perspective either.

If the wall on the left is the real left edge of the garden/fence but the wall on the right has more space to it's right that opens back up, it's probably all fine. It'll look more open without the walls too, even if you can't walk through the garden space, it's still open.

An interesting sight of the pictures side by side (so to speak) will kinda give an idea. It's not close, but it's not too far off either, the similarities. If I HAD to guess, I'd say if the left wall continued straight instead of kinking to the left and back to the right, I could see that being the small garden, and it would look okay. It would appear to be large enough of a garden to cover the climb, and small enough to still leave space to walk.

You can see a door on one of the wall in the picture, so I would say the wall are 8 feet at most. Looks like they will need to add a garden area like in the concept art, but as you say it will make the path pretty narrow.
I’d say 8’ also. 6’ 8” Hubby took pics over those walls last month. While he couldn’t see over the wall, he had no trouble taking photos.

I make it 15ft minimum clearance above the landscaped zone in front of the station. Obviously this increases towards the water.

It's also quite 'loud' where the gondolas start zooming away. Looks like the pathway is gonna be pushed wayyyy to the right and everything being quite 'busy' around there.

Turns out the concept art is a very similar angle, tried to line it up the best I could to give a better visualization of things

EDIT: Also, I think the angle of the original throws things off a bit. If you look at the safety railing spacing on the tower compared to the station, it's much larger on the tower. Assuming that's a standard size, the station is much further back in the photo than the tower is (which is apparent, but it's to a greater degree than it initially appears)

I imagine that they are going to need a bigger fence than what's pictured in the concept artwork. By the time the cabins are on the main rope, they will be going full speed. They can't take the chance of someone hopping the little fence to "smell the roses" and getting hit by a moving gondola.

My guess is larger bushes, but yea, they'll probably need more blocking it.

I think the garden could stay like the concept art, low to the ground or with higher plants, but there will probably need to be a minimum of a 8' wrought iron picket fence around it, so people can see into the garden but also be prevented from getting too close to the gondola cabins (and messing with the garden itself). The low fenced garden shown in the concept art is nice, but wishful thinking.

This exposes how uncultured I am, but what European architecture/style influenced the painting of a mural of birds and plants on the station? It looks pretty, but it just seems.... interesting that they chose that.

Just another way for these things to get you......... Now they'll be taking out people that don't even ride in them!
