Extra long straights would suggest possible moving platform to easy loading
Sure, but how are these folks going to manage to get onto a moving platform in the first place?
o/` You pick your right foot up... o/`
I wouldn't say clash...It would clash with my DW's chocolate chip cookie perfume...

Sorry if this has been reported/speculated on, but do we know if bus service to the gandola serviced hotels will be continued once the skyway opens? Or will the IG be the only way for guests of those hotels to exit?
Insiders have stated that buses will not run between hotels and parks linked by the Skyliner except in extreme cases.
Really?
Really?
My wife would never ride in a gondola.
I think she's a bit nuts that way, but surely there are many guests like her that would be afraid to travel that way.
In reality, it's not really fear on her part - more of a claustrophobia thing.
You can step off of a stranded bus.

Making and breaking electrical contacts as the gondolas move along would most likely produce quite noticeable arcing. Maybe that is what the are going to use for a new night time show? I can imagine the enjoyment of the riders as they see sparking over their gondola...
If you don't want to ride the gondola you can rent a car, take Lyft, take a cab, Minnie Van, bus to another park and transfer, or just stay at a non-gondola resort. Part of what is paying for this system is a reduction in busses. Even if they don't completely eliminate the buses they will be significantly cut back.
I understand, and reducing buses is a good thing.
I'm simply pointing out that a gondola unlike a monorail or bus, is a "no go" form of transportation for more people than we might think.
I think it's less than you might think. The only way to know for sure is a scientific survey.
Or, to notice that people going to Disney generally don't have an issue with the monorail which is as high off the ground as the gondolas will be.

Or WDW will add more buses in the future. And I'm sure when they don't have a menu of choices... they will buckle down and try... and then realize it's a non-issue and life will go on.
