It looks like the Epcot station in particular has been value engineered. I hope the PoP one hasn’t.

What are they supposed to look like?
They're a simple transportation station.
What do the rest of WDW's transportation stations look like?
I don't think they should be themed any more heavily than they are really.
I believe that part of the idea is to draw little attention to them.
A simple shelter that matches the locale, and away you go...

How utterly boring, just like this entire project.
So many potential cutting edge modes of mass transit and we get the lowest cost option.

I thought they looked nice. You’re telling us this is the cheaper version of the IG Station?

I'm getting more concerned about sightlines from inside Epcot. Any additional thoughts/info on how much will be visible from inside the park?
Probably not much. It won't be very high. Also, I think part of the Rat attraction being built is to hide backstage 'stuff' and block views of the gondolas.

I'm disappointed that they're just using the standard Doppelmayr structures with superficial changes for the Epcot and Studios stations. The quasi-mansard shape is immediately recognizable to anybody who's been skiing, and will be familiar for its utilitarian approach. The mansard aesthetic almost works at International Gateway, where the ultimate outcome will depend on the materials chosen, but it doesn't fit at all with the streamline moderne entrance at the Studios

The themed structure appears to be much more fully-realized at the CBR/hub station, likely due to the additional requirements for mechanical and storage space in that location. It's a shame that the more visible stations at the parks are where they decided to cut corners.

The budget is amazingly large.
Why is this thing costing so much.

I know you’ve alluded to it costing between $200-300 million.

We’re talking about something to move guests maybe 2-3 miles, tops.

Put another, oh so familiar way, that is $100 million per mile.

There is NO WAY monorail, lightrail, or heck, even people movers run all over would have cost this much...

Look at Hong Kong Disneyland’s train station and get back to me.
