Well, then, it's a good thing every pathway is covered and air conditioned!
If they were blowing cold air into the gondola pathways in August the line to board could go for miles.

I hear ya. Hot is hot whether it's 90 or 100. Having the gondolas elevated off of the hot asphalt and designed to reflect the sun better should help keep them well below the temperature of a car. As long as they keep moving there shouldn't be a problem.Whenever you're on/over pavement it will be over 100 when it's in the 90s here, but even 99 degrees and 80% humidity will feel significantly hotter than 105 at 10%. It's not uncommon for my car to register 103-106 around town in the summer.
Protip: 99+ degree air that's moving past you is still hot.

Isn't that open air similar to the old MK skyway?Hopefully it's a much different design than what they have over at BGT.

This system is not going to be the same or even similar. The gondolas will be fully enclosed and hold more people.Yeah, and it gets HOT HOT HOT.

Mechanical systems are not the only means of climate control.Right, I know. If they have climate control, there's no problem. If they don't, big problem.
Hopefully Disney's investing more than what it costs to make bad CGI (Soarin refresh). To be fair, I haven't followed the thread for a while, and I don't know anyone working on it. I'll just have to assume it's going to be like the monorail when it stops and the AC stops along with it and hope I'm wrong.

You obviously don’t believe anyone here, so go read up on different means of cooling instead of making the same dumb points over and over. How else does one convert 99 degree air at 80% humidity to less than 99 degree air and less than 80% humidity?

The explanations have been provided several times. How a breeze feels cool despite not being mechanically cooled is not some niche subject or even a limited experience.Super yugely helpful, a real A+. "Go away kid" is so much better than providing data to support your opinion.

Perception is what matters.Air feeling cool because it's moving and air being cooled are different things. Moving air at 99 degrees is still moving at 99 degrees, it may lose a degree or two as it moves but it's not technically cooling you. It's giving the perception of cooling.
Perception is what matters.
You clearly have absolutely no idea what you are talking about. The perception of cool air comes from the transfer of heat, so yes the body is being cooled.Until you pass out because your body isn't actually getting cooled.
