You must have missed the permits/plans then? Sure Disney hasn't done a press release but there's been proof for a while ...

His point is, prior to those permits there was nothing to indicate an gondola was going to happen, so lack of evidence for an expansion isn't proof an expansion won't happen, although as Martin has said there is not non-public evidence either.

I guess I missed the context of his post ...

At some point the phrase becomes sort meaningless when the timeframe is so open ended. It seems some people are taking that and assuming it means much more.

Contrary to popular belief, the entire state of Florida isn't a sinkhole or swamp. I'm sure they'll have located the stations and transfers in areas where you wouldn't need ridiculously deep anchors for the foundation
Some of the comments on here seem to assume what you addressed and they also act like Category 5 Hurricanes strike twice a week. Well stated.

"Reedy Creek notes refer to six stations with three lines linking Disney’s Hollywood Studios, Epcot, Caribbean Beach Resort, and the lakeside area between Pop Century Resort and the Art of Animation hotel."

If we take the term "station" literally, then the Boardwalk parking would be a station not a turn.
This is going to continue to cause confusion and disappointment. Turning station is an industry term and it would not make for a good loading station.

Love the Italian Job reference! I hope that's true..lol
It's true.

It's referred to as a turning "station"

So, is a turning station a 'station' because it's also providing pull to the cables rather than being a passive pulley? @Lift Blog ?

Cant wait to see how the station at Epcot will work with the walk way from the resorts guest using the International Gateway entrance or the boats. Going to be very disappointed if the entrance is closed during construction.

They are referred to as angle stations. Whether or not passengers can load or unload, each station will be required to be staffed. Example:

Angle stations can be passive or active in terms of pulling, it all depends on how Disney would like the rope system setup. It's cheaper to have multiple sections share one rope that passes through each angle station.
