You or anyone can request any style you want: Circus tents; giant dog houses; pirate ships, etc.... It won't matter. Permits are filed and even preparatory ground work has begun in one area. This means the architecture is set. Nothing is going to change it at this time.
Permits being filed does not mean the architectural design is finished. The fast-track building process has construction start before design is complete.

Well, that's disconcerting.

OTOH, @marni1971 seems to have seen (or heard about) at least some finished designs. I think.
There is nothing disconcerting about it. It is a perfectly legitimate project delivery method. It's very much what enables themed entertainment projects to change so much during the design process.

Architecture is much, much more than the design intent and overall aesthetic. Mundane stuff like the type of door hinges that will be used is part of the architecture being completely designed.

I can't wait to see the EPIC foundations for this station. They are going to be HUGE. Why? The stresses on the building to keep it firmly in place are going to be pretty large especially with the craptacular soil conditions of Florida.

Its probably going to come down to almost ground level, so they won't be extremely huge.
