News New Gondola Transportation - Disney Skyliner

It does go up, but I believe it’s only for the lobby and valet parking which is all on the second floor. Technically, the parking isn’t underground per se, just on the first floor since there aren’t any rooms on the first floor to my knowledge.

Anyways, yes the road goes up for the entrance to the lobby. Parking is technically on the first floor, but they built up a lot of infrastructure around it so it’s pretty “underground” in some areas.

Yes, similar to how “street level” at MK is actually 14’ above natural grade, to provide for the Utilidors, etc.

Assuming you mean kinda’ in the area I have highlighted in green, that looks pretty far away from Kidani. And also, the current Skyliner routes already go over roads and water, so not so much an issue there, probably. The issue, or question, from me is how complicated it looks like it would be for Guests to access the station with having to cross Osceola Pkwy. without an elevated walkway, or other option so as not to interfere with the traffic on that pretty busy road…?

Here's my green location, it's not across the street it's pretty much along the main entrance. Baby Blue is an example of the route it would proceed going. It still would be the best alternative transportation even if it couldn't connect straight with Kidani!

And, that’s the rub, isn’t it…?
The current Skyliner location between AoA and Pop is as easily accessible from both, and those are “value” (although many would argue otherwise regarding AoA ;)) resorts.
Jambo House and Kidani are deluxe/DVC.
Pretty sure your location would be a real issue for those that prefer Kidani. That would be one looooong walk, especially at the end of the day/night.
Also, with the bus situation as it currently exists for that whole resort, and all the complaints in regard to such, I really can’t see them making it even crazier bus-wise to more quickly (or not) get Kidani Guests to your Skyliner station location (Jambo bus stops).
And, as has been posted before, it’s never gonna’ happen anyway (at least not in my lifetime ;)), so this whole discussion is, mostly, pointless.
