Unfortunately with large forums, within hundreds of thousands of posts, and a database of 2GB, along with Review and PhotoAlbum integration, there is a lot of testing to be done before implementation. When the forum was smaller, with just a few thousand members, it was far easier to just role out upgrades whenever they came out, as the upgrade was uncomplicated, and ramifications were minimal.

I think it is far better to do major upgrades like this in a structured way, with testing, rather than just crossing my fingers and hoping for the best. :animwink:

I like the new layout, I just have to get used to the colors! I had it set to the darker color scheme on the old boards

Steve---Is there a reason why some of the titles under user names say Registered User? I know in this thread I've seen it under the user names for SirNim, StevenT, and myself.

Custom titles, as DMC-12 mentioned, wouldn't be a bad idea though.....

Me like the new forums...a bit slower though (or maybe its just my puter)....but a lot nicer...I was having withdraw symptoms at work today...not being able to log on...
