But the Sage of Time only appears every thousand years. Wait till 3000.

actually.. he appeared in late 1999 and stayed till early 2001. As some one else said, the gateway of time is a tricky object, maybe Sailor pluto can fix it </fandom>

Such a silly reason IMHO....Each Pavilion could have a team of CM's that learned the Flag's Customs and adhered to them. I am surprised that, even back then, they cut corners.

I think you misunderstand, they supposedly couldn't devise an arrangement of the flags that would be respectful of each other's customs. Think of how it's custom for the U.S. flag to fly higher than a state flag and such, that kind of thing. Not so much being lazy, just an insurmountable design problem.

Eh. I guess. At least put them infront of each pavilion, though, With some signs. I never got why WS and it's Pavilions don't have signs.

this one.
Ew. Your opinion, but where would this go? The circle logo would go well with the EC Logo a few feel away.

I think the signs would kind of ruin the ambiance, the special kind of suspension of disbelief that you have at World Showcase, maybe be a little tacky.

You know, I have half a mind to photoshop a certain logo or two in place of those couple of Innoventions 'O's, but I'm sure SirNim or someone is already working on it, and a thousand times better.

If you remove the tarps and pin central and put it down you could see it from aeriel photos and you could put those other words that they show on the website (Innovate Imagine etc.) around it.

I thought of that...but there is always something for subtlety. At least give WS as a whole one.

And that would be interesting! I look forward to seeing it.:D

Ah...OK. That would be interesting. Can we cover them in Fiber Optics for night time?

I don't see why not. Just out of curiousity do you think if they re-paint the buildings and change the aesthetic of the plaza they would need to shut everything down like when Communicore changed into Innoventions 1.0.

Well...Back then, they were doing a ton of construction. The expanded the complex, then too. Seeing that....Ummm.... If they wanted to get the job done very quickly, yeah, I could see refurb wall city up.

However...They could also take the road they are on now. Doing it bit, by slow bit one little wall and bit at a time..

One section at a time indeed. :)

Imagine if that construction of size occurs again?

Be interesting alright...but, if they wanted to, they cedrtainly could expand. One of the great things about the CC design. :)

As for the plaza, obviously the tarps and pin thing go. The pins would be moved into the space currently called MouseGear, perhaps on a new second floor ala Centorium? Also, I would like to see Guest Relations moved into the plaza area. I've never liked how it was kinda stuck off to the side at the end of Innoventions. I don't know if it would be feasible (the space might be a bit small), but that little circular outcropping thats currently used for MouseGear would be a nice spot. I just think its a more appropriate place for Guest Relations as its in the center of the center of FW. In addition, it would provide a nice, clearly visible location to wrap a new LED tip board along the top to provide info about the days events at Epcot.

Finally, I'd stay away from doing anything with logos in the pavement and what not. Logos have a tendency to change over time and then you're left with outdated markings that only fanboys remember. I think the best arrangement would be to bring back the pond/garden look to replace the concrete, then expand the new breezeway design out into the plaza. The swoopy pattern, along with the blue/green coloring, would match well with the water and greenery that would then be present throughout the plaza once again.

Oh, and get rid of the imagine, create, innovate window crap and open the windows again.

And put the flagpole back in its original spot.

That would work nicely.:D

However, I am thinking that a GR in the middle of the plaza would cutter it once again. It's fine in Inno. Leave the plaza open, lush, green, and spacious. Just give it some sort of a focal point besides the Fountain. Im thinking a statue of Walt like I said earlier.

Agreed with the aesthetics and Blue/Green Swooping idea.:D

Think they'll ever reopen the second floor of Centorium/Mouse Gear?

I would love to go up there and browse through there. Too bad it's now just another CM backstage.

Hmm... what about somehow fitting where the old SSE VIP lounge used to be?

It seems more centered there...

:D Sounds just about feasible already. Of course, it might take years... :animwink:

LOL! I have the strangest feeling not for awhile.

With the blue/green covering already on, perhaps when Innoventions 4.0 (5.0?) comes along, then perhaps...

And put the flagpole back in its original spot.
Maybe I missed it, but any pics alone of it?

Overall, nice ideas.

Disagree on the flag pole...I like the fact that the EC Logo is there...I would however like a EC Logo made out of Flower beds.:D
