Be interesting alright...but, if they wanted to, they cedrtainly could expand. One of the great things about the CC design.
As for the plaza, obviously the tarps and pin thing go.
The pins would be moved into the space currently called MouseGear, perhaps on a new second floor ala Centorium? Also, I would like to see Guest Relations moved into the plaza area. I've never liked how it was kinda stuck off to the side at the end of Innoventions. I don't know if it would be feasible (the space might be a bit small), but that little circular outcropping thats currently used for MouseGear would be a nice spot. I just think its a more appropriate place for Guest Relations as its in the center of the center of FW. In addition, it would provide a nice, clearly visible location to wrap a new LED tip board along the top to provide info about the days events at Epcot.
Finally, I'd stay away from doing anything with logos in the pavement and what not. Logos have a tendency to change over time and then you're left with outdated markings that only fanboys remember. I think the best arrangement would be to bring back the pond/garden look to replace the concrete, then expand the new breezeway design out into the plaza. The swoopy pattern, along with the blue/green coloring, would match well with the water and greenery that would then be present throughout the plaza once again.
Oh, and get rid of the imagine, create, innovate window crap and open the windows again.
And put the flagpole back in its original spot.
