Then it goes well of my idea for GR taking over the old SSE VIP Lounge & replacing that grassy area with palms & a walkway in.

Plus, it obstructs the SSE view...

And yes. Looks more OPEN!

Now that I like.:D

And yes...OPEN! Who knew the future would be cluttered with visual noise?:lookaroun

Think they'll ever reopen the second floor of Centorium/Mouse Gear?

I would love to go up there and browse through there. Too bad it's now just another CM backstage.

Wwe can dream, can't we? It doesn't NEED to be on a second floor, but it would be a way to kinda seperate it from the rest of the store.

Hmm... what about somehow fitting where the old SSE VIP lounge used to be?

It seems more centered there...
It would be, except, isn't Siemens using most of that space? Generation 21 or whatever their corporate lounge is called now? Also, access is an issue, as you would have to enter and exit through Project Tomorrow, and PT is corwded enough as it is. While its centered, the lounge area just isnt as visible or as easily accessible as the plaza is.

:D Sounds just about feasible already. Of course, it might take years... :animwink:

Yeah, I know... still, something needs to happen to those crumbling concrete planters. They really do look depressing these days.

With the blue/green covering already on, perhaps when Innoventions 4.0 (5.0?) comes along, then perhaps...

Perhaps...but considering they spend thousands on those other banners for the made up celebrations (see YOMD, HCOE, etc), I don't see why they couldn't take down the window coverings. Perhaps the could move them inside and use them as a wallpaper on dividing walls? They don't have to trash them completely, just move them and get them off the windows.

EE said he's getting a pic of the flag. In my grand scheme, the flag would be at the center of the logo, which would now be a stylized garden hedge design. That way, the EC logo is kept, and the flag is restored back to its place inside the park.

Overall, nice ideas.

Thank you!

Now that works well.:D

That would be an interesting idea... but then which way would he face? Toward SSE or WS? Either way, it would look odd from a certain angle...
I am taking a shot in the dark, but:

You mean at the middle of the EC logo?
No, no...On the OTHER side of the Fountain.

Maybe a bit south of the current Pin Store. And he would be facing SSE. :)
