OMG! I was on a cruise(not Disney) and they were playing that as I walked through the halls!

Also, I have the lowest reputation here!
No I think woody has you beat there, he has the lowest rep on the boards.

Yup. Does he still have all red squares?
And tigger248, don't feel bad, I have one square but only 53 points. Partly because of some dumb thread I started a long time ago that was really dumb. It was about the Indy Speedway and I wanted to know if anyone knew how to make the cars go super fast.
Also, thanks a bunch for the rep points darthdarrel!

How many points do you have to have to get that second green square? I have like 73. Am I close? Just out of curiosity cause I'm one of the few who only has one nowadays.
I still have only one too :(, but I think I'll live.

Steve, since you asked for suggestions, mine is: Is there any way to change the rep system so you HAVE to leave a comment? I don't care if I know who its from or not (although its nice) I would like to know why I recieved that positive or negative point. I've gotten neg. points for some posts where I was as friendly as could be, and if I recieve a neg, I'd like to know how I can improve.
Thanks!

As far as I know, there is no way to do this with the vBulletin software. (I could be wrong though)

It looks like they did away with the clever messages for good rep points. It's now "User has a great reputation - 5 star"

Versus some of the more clever ones mentioned earlier.

Why the change?

I was wondering the same thing....when some people give me positive rep my rep points only go up a number or two usually. But someone gave me a positive rep the other day and it went up 9 points! (I wish I knew who it was because they made it so I'm only two points away from my second green box and i want to thank them!)

I apologize if this has been asked before but how can you tell how many rep points you have to give a positive posting?? Belle
Give me some points and I'll tell you! :lookaroun

Just kidding :D

I'd be curious to know myself. I imagine it's a blend of how long you have been here combined with how many rep points you have.

There are 3 factors that go into calculation of reputation (as of vB 3.0.3, may have changed in newer versions):

Register Date Factor
For every X number of days, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Post Count Factor
For every X number of posts, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

Reputation Point Factor
For every X points of reputation, users gain 1 point of reputation-altering power.

There's also 2 that govern if rep hits actually count:

Minimum Post Count
How many posts must a user have before his reputation hits count on others?

Minimum Reputation Count
How much reputation must a user have before his reputation hits count on others?

All these options are set by the administrator (Steve) so only he would know what these factors are. If he wants to release them, that's up to him. The best way to find out how much rep you can give it to ask someone to find it out before and after you rep him. That's how I did it!
