Scan at entry to an attraction?

It's one thing to get your admission media out to gain entrance to a park. It's an entirely different thing to have to drag it out again to enter an attraction. EMH is workable with the wrist band. Just hold up your wrist and in you go.

I think wristbands instead of tickets are in the near future, so it wouldn't be something you need to "drag out."

The way they were using the new RFID seemed much slower than the prior turnstiles. We used the RFID the Monday before Thanksgiving, and it seemed to take forever. It always seems to feel like it takes so long when your waiting in line to get in, I'm always second guessing the line I got in.

That's the reason they test it though, because they want to see what does and doesn't work. There were some very high level managers watching the gates when they were testing this system. They saw exactly what was and what wasn't working and they are going to adjust it accordingly.
