Which is fine but something more casual and large in a major area like the boardwalk was a plus. Disney springs can be a pain to get too. ESPN was always packed when major events were happening too.
That.
That's the reason why I avoid DS typically. The buses always get you there quickly. But leaving? I feel like I've waited from 10 minutes all the way to over an hour to get out of hell DS. But ESPN being between the "Star Wars park" and the "booze park"? It's a great location that takes a tops of a half hour to get to from each parks entrance at a slow pace.

About time!!! Those are the worst rooms at Disney. (in my opinion :D)

Sounds good on paper at least. We need a good sandwich place over there, more options for a quick lunch/dinner. Boardwalk Bakery menu had become so small compared to it's past offerings.
And look will you’ there are more of the famous castle movable shrubs. Back to hide more , were can you purchase these fine looking movable shrubs???

I am probably the only one happy to see ESPN go...It was a lousy fit for the Boardwalk thematically...There are plenty of other places in this world to stare at the TV and scream... a high end resort themed to the 1940s seaside doesn't seem like the right place for it.
Disney Springs however seems perfect...plus that whole World Of Sports thing.
It would have been a perfect place for a reboot of The Adventurer's Club...
How popular was it, really? Why would they yank it if it was a well performing venue?
I do think there's a place somewhere for an Adventurer's Club style place. Just not sure they have the vision to do something like that again.

When you look at the crowds that Trader Sam's generates it is clear there is definitely interest in an adult venue that is fully themed... The new reboot of the Adventurer's Club could be specifically adult oriented...It could fit in either Grand Floridian or Boardwalk... While they are at it, why not a similar venue at the Contemporary? What if each of the Magic Kingdom resorts had a fantastically themed cocktail and entertainment venue of the like... I feel positive they would be money makers...

Oh this summer? I just assumed it meant next summer.

Here's the updated wording on the Boardwalk Bakery page -

BoardWalk Deli – Coming Late Summer 2022

Inspired by delis of the American Northeast, the menu offers house-baked bagels, savory warm sandwiches and a variety of desserts that will make your mouth water. Try the overstuffed warm pastrami Reuben or indulge in a hand-piped cannoli.

BoardWalk Deli opens later this summer for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
