A brand new meet 'n greet location will be built at DHS for Darth Vader.

It would be really nice if they had a constant area for Darth/Storm Troopers, and R2 and C3PO. My son would go crazy to actually meet R2D2.

They could do the opposite as well - Keep the show where it is and move the meet and greet indoors into Sounds Dangerous.

So, is that confirmed (the moving into SD)?

I was talking to a CM in DTD (I know, some of them are just as reliable sources as the bus drivers) but she told me in no way was the Jedi Training Academy moving into SD. She use to be a CM at Star Tours or the Academy and she had lots of good reasons to tell me why they weren't moving the show inside. Did she know what she was talking about or did she just have a really good story to tell me!?!

There could be changes coming to Jedi Training Academy. I've heard they might add a medal ceremony for the kids. Princess Leia would present them with the medal at the end.

Starts this Friday. It will be a separate presentation from JTA (at the same venue.) It will take place once a day on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays through Aug 1.

Those are all the details I have at this time.

I was just speculating, it sounds like drew is the best source for this one.

COOL! Darth Vader is one of my favorite characters of all time, plus more Star Wars in DHS is always a welcome sight.

I would have to guess with the "temporary" meet and greet they did while star tours was down helped gauge the interest with adding a permanent one...
