Blog Mickey has pointed out that the CMs at Muppet Vision have lost their themed costumes and now wear the same ones as the park entrance CMs, additionally the site that shall not be named has pointed out that this change has also impacted Indiana Jones, Trials of the Temple, and several other locations across the park. Is this a temporary thing or permanent? (I pray it is not; this seems extremely lazy on Disney's end!)

It is likely permanent. Many locations across the park already used a universal constume. Muppets and animation courtyard are now included in that.

It’s unfortunate. But was expected after what they did at Animal Kingdom.

What did they do at AK?
Many areas of the park use consolidated costumes now. All of Asia uses the same costume now. Previously Everest, Kali, flights/maharajah, merch, and foods all used seperate costumes. Now they are all one.

Main entrance, discovered island, and rafikis/wildlife express were also consolidated. In that case about 7-8 different costumes became one.

Yes. It’s a particularly cheap move that can’t save THAT much money but comes at considerable expense to SHOW. It’s a real shame how often park operations undoes Imagineering magic...
Yep. Fans spend way too much time making their opinions meaningless by nitpicking every design decision on new builds but largely ignore blatant cost cutting such as this.

All costumes in all Disney Parks should be consistent with this model...

And, I still can’t believe they do business with “Dixie” products even decades after they changed the name of “Dixie Landings”...!!!!!!! :hilarious:
Via Wikipedia:

The Dixie Cup was first called "Health Kup", but from 1919 it was named after a line of dolls made by Alfred Schindler's Dixie Doll Company in New York. Success led the company, which had existed under a variety of names, to call itself the Dixie Cup Corporation and move to a factory in Wilson, Pennsylvania. Atop the factory was a large water tank in the shape of a cup.[10]
