It's cute overall, though not the greatest show ever. The Tangled section was fine; Frozen was downright boring, though the LEDs effects were a pleasant surprise.

As others have pointed out, the PatF section is by far the most engaging, even if 1920's jazz flappers don't really jive with a medieval faire celebration. But anything PatF is fine by me as I think it's an underrated property. I really enjoyed the Showboat Jubilee all those years ago and think Dr. Facilier is a supremely engaging yet underutilized villain (though they all are at this point I guess).

Biggest winner from this new show - castle aesthetics. No more purple circus tent smack in the middle of the tunnel arch! The wooden gate is much more appealing.

I really liked the tap dancing. It was a very nice surprise. Tap dancing is always a croed pleaser using the 1920s theme to put it in was a good move. The whole patf sections choreo reminds me of the broadway show after midnight

I wonder how the new LED effects in the platforms will affect the Castle Dream Lights - do you think they'll use both? Just use the new LEDs? Could this effect ever be applied to the entire castle? Certainly would be far less visible than the current "nets".

So figured I'd pitch in my two cents. For starters, this is solely based on the video and is bound to change. The opening, I do not think needs the song, or maybe change the finale song. I love the song, just that it is used twice is a bit iffy. Love the new heads, much better, but odd that all heads were not swapped. For PatF, it was the best by far, although I am almost worried that when Louis (hopefully) is added back, it might almost feel disjointed. I can not even tell when in the segment Louis's lines would be. The tangled segment is cute, although, while I get that there are in shape dancers, the thugs in the snugly duckling are a bit larger in the film, and while I can forgive it for the dancers, it REALLY bugs me for Hookhand and Vladimir, they are WAY too thin. They look like they just fasted. And something about hookhand's outfit is off, maybe the awkward bald cap? Also, would it kill Daisy to give to give him a you made it better kiss, like Minnie did with Mickey. Frozen segment... Where do I begin? A. There need to be dancers, I got that they need to change for the finale, but can we just get two extra dancers with maybe white ribbons for twirling like Elsa's snow? B. Olaf feels a bit awkward in the show, they could have just gotten away without him.
C. Elsa's snow powder effect is actually pretty cool, wish they had used that in singalong.
D. Let it Go was the wrong song, should have been For the First Time in Forever, it would have fit the tone of the show more, I got that each one needs to have an explicit positive message, but it could be to try something new "for the first time in forever". The finale is ok. Did anyone else crack up when we saw Olaf leading Elsa in the final dance, lol. All in all, solid addition and a vast improvement to DAwM, but not without room for improvement. Looks like segments are interchangeable (along the lines of Disney Junior) so hopefully we will see occasional updates to the show, maybe to include Moana or even Elena eventually? 8.6/10

(Also They never used the place where the lift used to be, they should have ditched the top platform.)

Before we get to the Castle Dream Lights, Would be nice to see these in Wishes' finale! They weren't there last night, hopefully that's coming.

The LED's are below where the Dream Lights are it shouldn't be a problem.

Love that we went from a couple pyro shoots in DAWM to a mini pyro display in MRFF! The Finale would be so much better at night!!!!!! Hopefully MRFF will play with Frozen Holiday Wish in Nov-Dec! Or, MK could adjust their schedule before then...please?

Sorry for being late for the party. First of all, man, so much drama! Especially Miss Heinous for saying Louis the Gator is more important than the family lost their love one. That is so offensive. I agree that the parents are irresponsible for not keeping an eye on their child, but I can't call them stupid and turned against them for ruining our excitement for the new show. This is like "Like sands through the hourglass, so are the Days Of Our Lives." I hope I didn't start the drama about Louis The Gator. If I did, I apologize.

Second of all, I enjoy the show. That's greatest show I've ever seen. And you know, watching the new stage show makes me feel better about the incidents thats been going on lately. Despite of Louis the Gator's absence, The Princess & the Frog segment was my favorite. That would of been awesome if Goofy did a tap dance solo, but only for 3 to 5 seconds. So I really enjoy it so much. And I hope Louis the Gator will be included in the future as soon as WDW fix the gator problem. In the meantime, I'm going to enjoy this show very much.;)

Very nice. I can't wait to see this live. As I did miss seeing Louis as he is my fave character, I understand why. As others have already stated, hopefully he will be added back into the show in the near future. A solid performance overall IMO.

I honestly think they can improve the Frozen one by adding a "cooling" system right on the ledge going towards the spectators and more smoke.
Like you're really going into the frozen thing.
They could also have used the older elevator system in both left and right "turrets" to make the "ice castle" parts appear.

They could also just replace Louis with Ray.

So did Gaston, the Evil Queen, Dr. Facilier, among others yet they still appear, so I don't see why this would be any different?

He doesn't exist in the parks. They're reluctant as it is to make new characters I can't see them bringing Ray into the parks.
