I think MKs entertainment team did an amazing job aesthetically, the costumes, and stage decorations were spectacular. Personally I feel this show is lacking the magic/charm that DAWM had. I also really miss the lift :( Another thing I thought was strange is that all of the princesses had new vocals, but Olaf seemed like it was reused phrases just meshed together. Also did Daisy get a new voice actress because I don't remember her sounding like that?
Same voice

I like how they refer to Tiana and Naveen as 'new friends', when their film was eight years ago, and most of the kids watching the show weren't even born then. Looks a step up from the old show though, certainly. Nice for Entertainment to have something fresh to work on.
Their movie came out in December 2009, so its 6 and a half years, actually. I think they refer to them as "new" because that movie kicked off the recent golden age of WDAS films that Tangeld and Frozen are also a part of.

While I still don't like the arches remaining and would like them to keep the Main Street Vehicles as they have been during the hiatus, I agree. For the longest time, DAWM made the whole castle show idea feel stale. This show, even in its temporarily altered form, gives it a fresh and fun feeling that hasn't been felt in many years. Here's to keeping all of its shows fresh for years to come.
I haven't been impressed with a MK castle show in a long time. I understand why people miss DAWM but remember that this debuted during the "Year Of A Million Dreams" campaign back in 2006 and has been running years after the campaign ended.

That was actually pretty good. I did enjoy the additions of Rapunzel, Tiana, and the Frozen cast. It definitely livens up the whole area especially after DAWM was becoming stale. Kudos to the MK entertainment people.

Same deal with Move it! Shake it! That was created for the 2009 Celbrate promotion and while they made alterations to cut ties to it, the parade feels horribly intrusive to the area and should've been removed shortly after the promotion ended as it was at DL. If Disney wants to make entertainment cuts across the resorts, then that thing is the perfect candidate.

It can also ruin the atmosphere especially when you hear the music while your in Tommorowland. I'm still a bit annoyed that "Move It Shake It Celebrate It" is the only time you get to see Judy and Nick from Zootopia at Walt Disney World especially since they aren't meetable at WDW at the moment. They are currently meetable at Disneyland,Disneyland Paris, and Hong Kong at the moment.

Exactly, the fact that it hurts the atmosphere of more than just Main St. should be more enough precedent to remove it entirely. As for Nick and Judy, there's no reason for this cop out considering how well that movie has done at the box office.

This looks good. I'll agree that the classic and charming feel of DAWM is lost, but I'm just glad that show is gone. It overstayed its welcome like 5 years ago, so it's always good to see and hear something new. Amazingly enough, out of the three films featured, they were able to make the best usage out of the least popular film. The patf segment was amazing, both tangled and frozen were just ok. I would hope they would have a little more effects for the frozen song, since it's the "biggest" film. A little more pyro, maybe a lift, and some effects that would just wow us. I do miss a villains segment and kind of wish there was a classic version with the classic princesses they could rotate in, however I'm just happy to see something new. After watching a video, doubt I would ever stop to watch this, but that's what youtube is for.

Make that 10 years for DAWM

it was the first day perhaps there is a technical issue with the suit and they are going to implement him in the future.
The temporary removal is supposedly due to the possibility that someone might connect him to the highly publicized aligator attack. Anyone who has seen or knows anything about the movie should know that the character wouldn't harm a fire fly, so the over sensitivity of today's society is to blame.

They are all done by the original voices - no new ones at all

Debuting a show featuring an alligator in the same week as a highly publicized alligator fatality is in poor taste. I don't advocate Louis permanently being absent from the show, but for now, yes- Disney absolutely made the right call.
I agree, but that's only because our overly PC society has been hard wired to look for issues and will wrongly connect fantasy aligator playing a trumpet and real aligator being a viscous predator. I can see the Jungle Cruise joke since it made a connection to crocodiles eating children, but Louis should be understood if we live in a rational society. Unfortunately, we don't, so now we have to fear fictional, anthropomorphic, cartoon aligators and crocodiles.

Not very impressed with this to be honest.

I have to say though, although not really a fan of the movie or characters from Princess and the Frog, removing Louis?...a joyful CHARACTER, is ridiculous. I'm sorry. All they are doing is reinforcing a negative light on Alligators, which they do not deserve. They should do the opposite. This world or at least North Americans, are going backwards.

Has every Croc and Gator been removed from Animal Kingdom too? You could argue they might as well take away all the human performers off the stage too, considering all the horrible things humanity has been doing to one another over the past week.
