So Mickey and Minnie has the new faces? And Daisy too? She looks different? They all look different!

I'm sorry. I guess I have to see it in person, but I'm not a huge fan. I won't be in anybody's way for a good spot to see the show. I just always enjoyed a common theme - music, script and all - that tied in many traditional characters. DAWM did that for me. This show just seems to be a song - highlights from 3 separate shows - beginning song at the end. I know there's a "story". It's just not for me. I'm glad so many people like it and it will be a hit. Good news is always wonderful. Congrats.

Not very impressed with this to be honest.

I have to say though, although not really a fan of the movie or characters from Princess and the Frog, removing Louis?...a joyful CHARACTER, is ridiculous. I'm sorry. All they are doing is reinforcing a negative light on Alligators, which they do not deserve. They should do the opposite. This world or at least North Americans, are going backwards.

Has every Croc and Gator been removed from Animal Kingdom too? You could argue they might as well take away all the human performers off the stage too, considering all the horrible things humanity has been doing to one another over the past week.

No. But think about it. They have a happy singing/dancing alligator on stage while just outside the park a real one snatched a child, drowned him, and would have eaten him had it not been startled. Agree with others. Would be very poor taste and WDW would be criticized for being completely tone deaf. Everyone understands the real crocs, AAs, sculptures, etc. But this, along with JC joke can be removed for now.

I'm glad they've dumped the tired, boring, and basic classic characters. It's time to move on, honestly. How many more shows do we need with "So this is Love", "Once Upon a Dream", or "Someday My Prince Will Come"?

... Are you serious? I'm all for a little freshness, but let's be honest- there's a darn good reason that, say, Snow White has endured for over seven decades.

I doubt he will be gone for more than a few weeks. Disney is just trying to be tactful. Has nothing to do with being "overly sensitive". On the contrary, leaving that line in JC, especially, would be overly insensitive.

All personal opinion - I am not right, you are not wrong....

Looser. We just won't be bothering with this. Not topical - no roaring '30's dancers in 1420. Few classical characters. All personal opinion - not interested.

The good thing? It will be a people eater. Maybe. WE are not likely to bother with it - and that's just us.

I love it! It's a great show, and it doesn't seem like "Let it Go: Featuring Mickey and Friends". Each set of characters had a good length song and dance number that flowed very nicely. The only thing I wish there was more of is other characters or at least some villains from "classic" era Disney. I realize that this show is geared more towards the newer generation that grew up with the three new films, but I kind of wish they had a better new to old character ratio (excluding Mickey and the gang, because they're about as old as you can get). I liked DAWM so much because it had many timeless characters coming together to celebrate dreams, and eventually save the day to defeat evil. It was more magical than MRFF, and the payoff in the end (at least to me) was a lot better than a friendship fair. That being said I still really enjoyed the new show.

But I'm so glad that ugly tent from DAWM is gone. I love the use of the gate instead.

Snow White is, for my money, one of the most consistently fun characters to meet. Aurora... okay, that's a fair cop. Much of it depends on which "friend" is out. However, you can ask about her animal friends, or what it was like to be raised by the fairies, or what have you.

It is asinine to me that you have awful Aurora still meeting in the MK while they cut LADY FREAKIN TREMAINE?!?! Now that was a fun M&G.

Debuting a show featuring an alligator in the same week as a highly publicized alligator fatality is in poor taste. I don't advocate Louis permanently being absent from the show, but for now, yes- Disney absolutely made the right call.

I kind of feel the same way. Since the alligator incident was making press everywhere, it was wise of Disney to not include him in the show.

Ok but we had a show with ONLY classic characters for 10 years. PATF and Tangled haven't even been part of any shows here on the East Coast. It's time these IP's got their turn.
