I was more referring to the dialogue and music. As for the dapper gentleman tap dancing, I actually like that better than another fur character waddling around. Adds a nice dynamic element.

Without seeing the other version, I can't say for sure. But he was certainly awesome.

Watching it for a second time with the kids on the big screen, and I'm pretty sure that's what it is. Maybe they'll keep it this way - I wouldn't mind!

Speaking of the show, I wonder why they dont just replace Louis with Ray..
Because he'd give the guest NIGHT TERRORS!!! As Shown from Disney on Ice..

Well, like I said, instead of being negative about it, we just have to hope for the best of WDW for fixing the gator problem and hopefully (even though I'm trying to be optimistic about it) that Louis might be added in the future. If not, well, I guess we'll eventually get used to it.

Good show. Another thing about it: Flexibilty. Mickey/Minnie remains the hosts and you can swap out any one of the three "acts". Right now it's PATF, Tangled, and Frozen. You could pull Tangled and swap in, say, BATB. This keeps the show fresh.

Or, you could swap in newer films that are popular that DON'T have multiple representations across the parks already. Zootopia, Big Hero 6, Wreck-It Ralph, etc.

I think they are going more to tie it into NFL Behind the castle with the "Fantsay" vibe....Still think Clopin would have been great to see..

If they can fit a 1920s jazz aesthetic into it, certain something like Big Hero 6 shouldn't be too much more of a stretch. Say Hiro and Baymax are from "The City of Silver Circuits" or something to that effect.

Who goes back to my point. Each of the three acts in the middle are completely different. Mickey and Minnie invite them out, say "hi", then the act has a musical number from its movie. You can continue this show indefinitiely with different acts and still having the faire at the end.

It's RFF so I think it needs to be royalty. Didn't the Elena audition have vocals? She could solo the RFF theme song or her theme quickly. I don't see giving her an act now. I would think they'll stick with the 3 they have for a while, especially if Louis can come back.

Actually, when I heard With A Smith And A Song yesterday during the Live Stream, I was expecting to see Snow White!

I didn't say they would swap out acts anytime soon. But the structure allows for it.

I have a friend who works in the entertainment division at WDW currently, and he tells me that Louis will be returned to the show ' in a couple of weeks ' ( his quote ).

The impression I received was that there was no intention to keep him out of the show permanently, more a temporary move to avoid possible unpleasant press connections.

Makes total sense to me! Thanks!

I assume the same would be true of the Jungle Cruise as well. It honestly could be as simple as "wait for the thread on WDWMagic to get off the first page"

Random question for shows at WDW in general. I'm assuming yes, but can anyone who is friends with Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Rapunzel, ect. be in the show as the audio is prerecorded anyway? I'm assuming it would be select few CMs. Or do they hire different cast members for teh stage shows.
