New castle show Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire to open this summer at the Magic Kingdom

Great to hear but I also wonder why. They aren't using the new Mickey and Minnie for M&G's and parades yet, right? I mean, surely, no kid is really going to notice the difference but you'd think they premier the new looks for all versions of Mickey and Minnie at once.

I'm hoping they would. That would only make sense to me. In Shanghai Mickey/Minnie have different gloves but MRFF the gloves were the old ones. So Im interested to see how they'll handle the switch. Will they keep Minnie in her old M&G dress for now with the new face or completely switch her over. Time and photos will tell...

Louis will probably be back within a week or two as will Tic Tock (if it's true that he was taken out of the parade due to the incident) and if it takes longer than that, I don't see the big deal.
Well....I'm SOLD!!!!!! MK HAS DONE IT AGAIN!!!!!!! Yes, no Louis but I think they must of reworked the PATF segment because it doesn't look there's a big hole in there(Thank goodness!) Streaming Disney did say that Louis had lines in the show. Who knows if that's true or not
I know Facebook and Periscope doesn't have the best quality but i think i saw more lights on the Stage during Let It Go. and with the new pyro(more than what DAWM had), They really should do a couple performances at night! Hopefully Frozen Holiday Wish will stay and MRFF will work around that.

It's very enjoyable, I really appreciate them using the newest team of Princess/Royalty. I was hoping there would be live vocals from at least the royals ala the Sanderson Sisters, but alas.

I like how they refer to Tiana and Naveen as 'new friends', when their film was eight years ago, and most of the kids watching the show weren't even born then. Looks a step up from the old show though, certainly. Nice for Entertainment to have something fresh to work on.

Very nice. Frankly I like DAWM better, though, with Peter Pan and the Pirates, plus that show's ending was better, when fireworks shot out of the castle at the end - the kind that shoot up with gold sparks and then crackle and fade. That was outstanding. But this show does have a wonderful, lively beginning - the dancing with Tiana and Company was great. The Elsa/Anna/Olaf bit was kinda meh, though, as was the Rapunzel scene. Overall, this new show is nice, but IMO, not as good as DAWM.
As an aside, those articulated heads are amazing. They add so much. Very well done.

I think MKs entertainment team did an amazing job aesthetically, the costumes, and stage decorations were spectacular. Personally I feel this show is lacking the magic/charm that DAWM had. I also really miss the lift 
Another thing I thought was strange is that all of the princesses had new vocals, but Olaf seemed like it was reused phrases just meshed together. Also did Daisy get a new voice actress because I don't remember her sounding like that?

While I still don't like the arches remaining and would like them to keep the Main Street Vehicles as they have been during the hiatus, I agree. For the longest time, DAWM made the whole castle show idea feel stale. This show, even in its temporarily altered form, gives it a fresh and fun feeling that hasn't been felt in many years. Here's to keeping all of its shows fresh for years to come.
