According to @DCharacternews on twitter, Louis is gone. He didn't specifically say MRFF, he just said "see ya later louis".

HOPING this is temporary! Same with Tic Toc in FOF, Boo To You????????

If we are going to use this logic, Maybe UOR should can HHN this year because of the horror in Orlando.

Also, I'm hoping the family isn't making Disney do this. Yes, it's a terrible accident and maybe there wasn't enough words on the sign. But that shouldn't make WDW change their whole plan, should it?

JC I totally get, since you're in a boat in pretty high water(If I remember right), in the jungle. I hate to feed TDO or the media this but are there gators in AK's Discovery River? That could get into ROL seating?

Stitch was added to Map after guest complaints. It took about 9-12 months, IIRC.

This tragedy kind of ruined my excitement for the show. Now I don't know if I can watch it on youtube right now, now that Louis will be banished from WDW forever.

I think it's a classy gesture from Disney to have a temporary removal of gator references in the park. Hopefully temporary lasts no more than a week. Interested to see how the show will be rewritten tomorrow.

Because the Lilo and Stitch scene didn't feature Stitch it just had the dancers dancing to Hawaiian Rollercoaster Ride. DLR fans are much more vocal than WDW fans.

That thought had crossed my mind. I also can't see them taking Louis out of MRFF, they'd have to cut his audio out, and it would confuse the performers as they've rehearsed it with his parts.

They are professionals. It's their job. It could change right before the performance and they'd be fine.

If something did happen right before the perfomance would they just cancel the performance? I think they did that with DAWM. I think peter missed his cue one time, Goofy was missing(years ago), mickey's eyes closed during the finale and stayed that way(which happened in DAWM;s last month I believe). And of course, weather.

AS for the Gator issue, I would like to think that most people are fine with a temporary MIA of Tic Toc and Louis. But if it's drags on, No Louis by Labor Day, Tic Toc cut from Boo To You, then people(myself included if MRFF looks like its missing something ) may have different thoughts.

If MK ends up doing the Rain Ver of this all day with sunny skies, you know something's up.

Get a grip. This isn't the end of the world. Rain show? How would you even know what the "rain version" of this show was if it just opens today? People getting bent out of shape over a fake character (who's role in the show isn't even known and now never will be)? Seriously, we need to check some priorities here Anyway, the showtimes for today are 10:30am, 11:35am, 1:05pm, 2:05pm, 4:15pm and 5:15pm; for anyone who was curious or missed them a few pages back.

I don't know the answer to that. When we were there over spring break one of the monkeys didn't show for Lion King. I swear the finale was extended some way as a result.

If my high school dance kiddos can roll with the punches 5 min before a performance the paid professionals surely can.

Indeed. It was a minor secondary character. I've seen Broadway shows function during flu season with minor characters completely missing due to an excessive number of actors being sick.

Someone else can say Louis' three lines.
