New attraction preference

Oops, I could only think of Bedknobs and Broomstix -- I guess that's to many mushrooms from portabello road for me.

I am really worried that a villians ride, unless it's HUGE, along the lines of DL Pirates or SSE will be so watered down, that it will just turn into a mashing together of characters. But if they Truely make a 10 minute E-ticket attraction, that would be AWESOME.

The only concepts that I've heard utilizing Villains have been as you would say "HUGE". My favorite being a new mountain/flume ride utilizing the 20K Lagoon with surrounding mini-land. We know that it has been considered, but that is all.

No, the 20K Leagues Under the Sea lagoon. It has been completely filled in to make way for future attractions.

Whew! I was worried there for a second.

So, the water around Tom Sawyer's Island....is that the remains of the Lagoon where 20K was at?

no, 20k was in fantasy land. the water around TSI is still there. the big lagoon in fantasy land is now more of a pond. a big playground is now where 20k used to be

No, that is the Rivers of America. The lagoon was in Fantasyland.

Ah. Was that ride still there as of 1987? That was my very first time there, but I only remember certain things about the place. I remember Space Mountain and the Thunder Mountain Railroad, and I remember the Cable Cars. Why don't they still have those, by the way.

I also remember the Big Bad Wolf character walking around and remember being on the verge of tears because we left without me getting my picture taken with him. Since when was he a Disney character, anyway? He must not be anymore, I guess, because I haven't seen him any of the other times I have been there since.

I can't remember because it's late but I know that the majority of the lagoon is gone!! It's been replaced with a Pooh Bear playground..... I honestly have not been near the Grotto since they made the change so I'm not sure if there any water there or not. A Little Mermaid attraction was in the plans for a while but they could not get some of the kinks worked out.
Old news dude. That got bulldozed a long time ago (about a year iirc). The playground actually only takes up one little spot of the former lagoon. The 20k show building was HUGE, there's plenty of space back there to put a whole new land with an E-ticket.

Wake up man!

About a year? I'd say it's been alot longer than that, because I don't recall seeing a lagoon in Fantasy Land in 2003 or 2004.

*takes drink...burns tongue* Ouch! Not so hot dude! Hmmm...I wonder if I can sue and win enough money to join the Disney Vacation Club.

It closed around April 2004 and reopened November 2004 as a playground.

I guess I stand corrected. I must not have been paying very close attention to that part of the park when we went those two times.

For some strange reason, it is easy to miss because I missed the entire playground on two different trips in 2005:brick:

I think the Incredibles would fit better in DS. Journey to the center of the earth would be a huge help to a recovering AK. I have seen pics on mouseplanet. A villians ride would be cool. Maybe something like the Mummy at Universal??? Countries would be welcomed with open arms from me. A Brother Bear Rapids ride at Canada would be cool. A labrynth would be cool in Toontown Fair. Indy ride would be very good and much needed and then redue Star Tours and Disney Studios would be amazing again.

And most importantly...Can anyone confirm any of this?

As of now, all of these are just rumors and/or wishful thinking.

Journey to Center of the Earth (AK)- Never been on the original, but I hear it is very cool. So that gets a thumbs up for me.

Dark ride based on Disney Villains (MK/DS)- I coul go with or without this one.

Australia (AK)- Definate yes, would make AK way more fun. I also think and area for cold waether animals would be cool, like Polar Bars and Penguins.

Dark ride Village based on B&B, Pinocchio and an unmentioned (MK)- meh

Indiana Jones Show Replacement with ride (DS)- I love the stunt show, but once you seen it, you've seen it a thousand times. It never chances at all. I want the ride like in DL. I am a huge fan of Indiana Jones, but if I want to relive the film, I'll watch my DVD copy. Pluse most of those effects aren't even used in filmmaking anymore.

Alice's Labrynth leading to a Meet & Greet (MK)-

Incredible's attraction (EC)- I could see this in Epcot, because the movie is kinda futuristic.

Brother Bear (EC)- Canada needs a ride baldlley, this would be welcomed.

and finally the addition of 3 new WS countries.- Ireland, Greece, Russia or Egypt or India.

Update Star Tours!!!!!!!!!

P.S. to the original poster. If you can find more about this lunchin let us know.

The great thing about the ride is all the variations. I have gone on at least 15 times and still have only been through the center door once.

"Tourists, why did it have to be tourists"

Oh ya, I totally forgot about Ireland. That might be kinda cool. I still think Austrailia would be a nice WS addition. However, I can see an argument for having it as well as an Australia in the AK, to compliment each other, but I can also see an argument for letting it suffice to be in AK so as to make room for another country in WS. Greece would definitely be neat, as it was such a major player in world culture and political develpment. I'm not sure if I care so much about India, but Russia would be a potential good one. I wonder if maybe a South American country like Brazil would do well, although it may be too similar to Mexico. On the other hand, though, China and Japan are pretty similar and they do just fine there.

Doesn't even have to be Brother Bear, Canada has PLENTY to offer w/o the cartoon.

Well I can remember the origional design for Epcot, where US was at the port of entry, and they had both Austraila and Russia in the original plans... the icons were going to be the Sydney Opera House and the onion domes on St. Basil's on the Red Square... seems to me that there were a few others on that original model too... can anyone remember the others?

Somebody mentioned a Pinocchio ride in "Germany"??? And a Mulan ride in "Japan"??? Um, Pinocchio is Italian and Mulan was Chinese........but hey, both of those countries are also in WS, so it could still work.
