Okay.

I remember reading about the "Crime Stoppers" attraction a little while ago. It seemed really cool. :)
It would have been - it was designed for Disney-MGM Europe, to be cloned at WDW. Looking at the DMGM-E plans the scale of the attraction would have been as big as that of the proposed park. It really would have taken the EMV to IOAs Spiderman level.

In Fantasyland it was suppossed to have a totally different concept than what it has now. Like it was suppossed to have a Sleeping Beauty ride, a Mary Poppins ride, and Pinocchio. Those would've been some sweet attractions, well except for Pinocchio because that already exists.

Don't forget about the "Legend of Sleepy Hollow" dark ride, which would have included an experience with the Headless Horseman!

What exactly is Tomorroland 2055?

I would like to see Discovery Bay soon (even though it probably will not ever happen).
Tland 2055 was the original DLC Tland makeover - the bits that survived the budget cuts are what opened in 1998.

Discovery Bay has already been built in part in different parks under different guises.

What is WRE?

Those plans are pretty cool.Esp for Epcot.WS really does need something new.

WRE is Western River Expedition, Marc Davis' masterpiece that would have trumped PotC at Disneyland. Instead of floating past scenes of buccaneers, we would have floated past scenes of cowboys and Indians. The attraction was part of Thunder Mesa, a massive mountain range that would have stretched along the Frontierland horizon where Splash Mountain and BTMRR are now. The range would have featured WRE, a runaway mine train coaster (not exactly BTMRR), and a few other attractions.

When WDW opened without PotC, Guests were furious and demanded to know where the Pirates were. The MK was never supposed to have a PotC attraction because it was so close to the real Caribbean and real New Orleans. WRE was PotC's replacement. Disney tried explaining this to the public, but they never accepted it. So instead of building both attractions, Disney quickly shelved WRE and rushed plans for a shortened PotC that could be constructed faster than its longer DL forerunner. Incredibly, even after both PotC and BTMRR, Disney continued insisting that WRE would eventually get built throughout the 1980s!

WRE will probably never get built now that we live in politically correct hyper-sensitivity,* but BTMRR evolved from the Thunder Mesa plans, and Phantom Manor in Disneyland Paris takes place in Thunder Mesa.

You can read more about WRE in The Disney Mountains: Imagineering at Its Peak by Jason Surrell, or at this Wikipedia article. The book includes lots of concept art.

*That's a shame, too, because WRE poked fun at the entire Wild West, not at any specific ethnicity.

Quoting the Wikipedia page:

Soviet Union Pavilion Planned in the early 1990s, this would have been placed between China and Germany and dominated by a recreation of Red Square. The center building would have housed a sled-like ride showing the Russian landscape based on Russian folk tales. There also would have been a unique show mixing together film, Audio-Animatronics and a live actor that would showcase Russian history.

Understanding that Walt did not have much input into what was eventually built as EPCOT, it is still hard to believe that the Disney company would consider the building a pavilion in EPCOT about the Soviet Union. I say this because of Walt’s well documented opinions on the evils of communism and the spread of communism in the USA and Hollywood.
