Never Built Disney Attractions?

I still think the coolest idea that Eisner ever had was the hotel shaped like a giant Mickey Mouse. I still don't know why they don't go nuts for a Disneyholic resort that's all out Disneyfied. Right now, the Value resorts have more Disney in them than any other resort on site.

^^ Because nearly everyone in any of Disney's creative branches, from animation to WDI, knows that Disney is about much more than characters. Walt himself oversaw everything from Mickey Mouse to "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea," from "True Life Adventures" series to "Zorro," from "Mary Poppins" to "Davy Crockett." In all started with a mouse, but he doesn't need to be plastered all over everything. The hidden Mickey decorative touches are great ways to pay homage in the moderate and deluxe resorts. I will admit that some hotels, such as Saratoga Springs, don't have enough Disney touches.

A giant mouse ears hotel covered with holes (windows) didn't look that great, either. Concept art actually does exist.

There might actually be some large debate over that. One person's Tacky is another's Genius. Is a big cartoony castle any less tacky?

That's why the castles aren't cartoony. ;)

(Except for the 25th birthday cake, which was very tacky.)

Anyway, WDI complained that the hotel was full of holes, and looked like a piece of Swiss cheese. The hotel was only shaped like the classic mouse ears, visible only from certain angles; it would have been a deluxe resort, and would not have resembled the values at all.
