Nemo Animatronics...

...I recently received some information that several Nemo animatronics (of the orange fish variety), have been delivered to WDW Central Shops and are now being worked on by the animatronic specialists at Central Shops.

Are these to go into the Nemo upgrade to The Living Seas. Maybe they will be used to make the seacabs ride a little more entertaining, though I always thought looking at live fish in a large tank was pretty entertaining as it was.

:lol: I just watched it again last night cause I got the DVD for my b-day. I really can't wait for this upgrade. I also enjoy looking at the fish but I think it will liven the experience up a bit.

I always thought is would be neat to have a Nemo or even a Flounder swim around. An Animatronic figure that could think on it's own and swim on it's own... It would be a bad idea for the tanks though.. Maybe in the 20,000 Leagues lagoon with Flounder... hahaha

Sounds like there's activity with this whole Nemo rehab thing...perhaps instead of seeing Nemo and his friends in the seacab areas we will see him in some sort of preshow in the circular room, the animatronic can move in there....or perhaps in the theater....I'm thinkin along the lines of bugs life where flick is actually seen above the crowd "in person"....what ever they do...I just hope they keep some of the Sea Base Alpha atmosphere alive....and that this rehab doesn't turn into a JIYI tragedy....

Are we certain that these AAs are going to the Living Seas? How do we know they aren't going somewhere else?

Good point. I was only told that they have arrived at WDW Central Shops and are in the possession of the animatronics craftsmen.

While TLS would seem to be a logical conclusion, I personally cannot verify them going there.

Am I the only one who thinks Nemo doesn't belond in Living Seas? I mean, That's not Epcot!!! As much as I think Living Seas needs an update, I think soem peopel are settling for something that they don't really want. Future world doesn't have Disney characters like Nemo. And It shouldn't, thats what makes Epcot different from the other parks.

I would be upset if it was added to the Living Seas. Granted, I wanan see a Nemo ride just as much as the next person, thought it doesn't belong in Epcot.

YES!

I say put the nemo ride (if there is to be one) in the AK.... It doesn't have enough rides to spend a full day..... They could put it at camp minnie mickey!

I completely agree...EPCOT is the last place I wanna see Nemo..I do however have some hopeful thoughts for a Nemo ride in the 20 k lagoon area...there is already rumors of them doing some construction with the area...and Now Nemo AA's...hmmmmmmmm
