Fat people that have scooters
I agree with this completely. If you are too fat to walk Disney, you are too fat for Disney. I cannot stand ECVs. It is a motorized vehicle in heavy pedestrian traffic. There needs to be an ECV lane. Personally, I do not feel sorry for the old lady that ran into me, almost tossing my daughter from my shoulders, and blaming me for her running to the back of me. I took the ECV key, walked away with it and she is lucky I didn't toss it into a the lagoon at Epcot. About a 100y later I handed it to a CM and told them wait for the irate lady calling for help.

WOW I've been wanting to vent about this one.
Last week I was behind a 30 something guy on the line at Rock n roller coaster. The cast member asked him where his chair was. At first the guy didn't understand the question. The cast member said "your wheelchair where is it". The guy was not over weight, didn't walk with a limp, hoped in and out of the ride with no problem. His answer to the cast member was " I just use the scooter to get from a to b".
BTW there is a sign on some of the busses that states the ride must sit in a normal seat.

Some people have "hidden" conditions. My 18yo nephew has Muscular Dystrophy. If you met him, you would not know there is anything wrong with him by looking at him or even watching him walk. He can ride any of the attractions at Disney and often hits RnR and EE multiple times in a trip. He appears "normal" and can get on and off of most rides with no problems. However, walking long distances or for a long time (like at an amusement park or a mall) causes him extreme rapid exhaustion. He uses his power wheel chair at Disney (and other places) so that he can spend more than an hour at a park. He uses the chair to go from attraction to attraction but finds it easier to walk through the queue than to maneuver his chair through. If he uses his chair in the queue a CM has to move it once he loads on to the ride and due to the cost of the chair my brother prefers to park the chair himself (or have my nephew do it) so he knows it's being "driven" properly and safely. So just because someone only uses their chair/scooter to "get from a to b" doesn't mean they don't need it. I'm not saying that there aren't a lot of people who abuse the system by renting a scooter, but just because someone looks perfectly healthy and doesn't have a limp or obvious ailment doesn't mean they don't need their in-park transportation.

You ought to start a separate thread on this subject. I don't believe scooters have been discussed her before. Especially those new Living Seas Scooters.

On RNRCoaster last week, we saw 3 teenage girls get in the single rider line, and I heard one of them say "Don't worry, we'll all ride together." When we got into the pre-show room, all of the girls were in the top row where the single riders stand, and then they all tried to sneak into the bottom row regular line. Attendant caught them and wouldn't let them do it. He could have kicked them out of the line, but he let them stay in the single rider queue.

I would like for a CM to kick someone out every now in then.
