OK like I said I went ahead and gave my mom the trip to disney way ahead of the time I was planning Christmas and even though I informed her that it was a christmas gift I still want t get her something else. Her birthday is in oct and shelikes the disney orniments for the tree so that is out of the way. I want to go with the disney theme for her gift but she really does not collect anything so I guess my question would be. If you liked disney but were not a collector of items, what would you like to receive as a gift. Thank You:)

Why not some stuff to use during her disney trip? Buy an inexpensive carry-on sized bag and pack it with fun stuff and some practical things. Order personalized maps from www.disneyworld.com, maybe a guide book or hidden mickeys book, a disney t shirt, ponchos, disney dollars, etc, etc. It could be as inexpensive or elaborate as you want. Good luck!

The only thing about the personalized maps is that if you get all four, you get two maps with parks printed on both sides.

Maybe a scrapbook so she can have something to remember her trip??

This is off the subject completely...and I only ask this because I work for Circuit City.....but your user name (OP) are you a tech for CCity...or is that just a coincidence??

When my family had a Disney trip together my sister got us all a really cool gift for Christmas.

She filled a Disney beach bag with mini size shampoos, toothbrush, toothpaste. Got us each a Disney wallet for our keys to the world card, sunglasses, a Disney beach towel, waterproof disposable cameras (for the water parks & it had Donald Duck on it), sunscreen, a Disney notebook and Mickey pens to keep track of our trip, a Disney photo album and an Imagineering guide for different parks.

There was probably actually more but kit's hard to remember now...it was a fantastic gift...definately themed to our trip and everything was useful, too

I would call down to WDW and get her a refillable mug for her stay. They'll mail you anything they sell on property.

Also- I've called and made ressies and paid for the Luau. I bought leis, a hawaiin (sp?) shirt, and a grass skirt to give to represent the Luau gift.

the nicest gift i have gotten from disney is a watch from the watch store on Main street. But like ppl have said you can call the disney merchandise # and order anything you wish, if they sell it you can have it shipped to your house. So the disney ornaments could still be a thought if you wanted.

After reading posts on the wedding and honeymoon forums here, did you look at disneyflorist.com they have wonder gifts and some can be sent anywhere, not just to you at disney.
