Hi All!

So i'm out of my post Disney Blues - it's been about 6 weeks since we have been back from our Dream Vaca. I dove into reading the Twilight to get my mind of things - read all 4 in a couple of weeks! hee hee But now...I need a Disney Planning Fix! We don't have another trip planned and don't know when we'll be heading back. And i'm dying to plan another trip! Oh what to do! ha ha

You need to find someone going on vacation and do all the work for them! :animwink:

Here, I'll give you something to work out for me...

First full day is at the MK - our group consists of me, hubby, two kids (boy 6, girl 3) and a newbie (my friend, she's never been to the "World" before). Where do I head first? My kids love FL but I want to give my friend a great first impression. We have an ADR at Crystal Palace at 11:50am and I will be arriving for the opening ceremonies...

(Maybe this will entertain you for a minute) :animwink: :D

We don't go for another 8 weeks - but because everything is planned to the 'nth degree - and in anticipation of the post holiday (vacation) blues, I'm getting all of the Florida brochures from the travel agents ready for planning next years :ROFLOL:.

WOW, it is something, I just thought the other day that I had not seen any post from you since you returned from the Magic. Just glad to see you here posting.

We do not leave until Nov. 20th so we still got a ways to go. I am waiting for the calendar to post hopfully Aug. 1st for Nov. so I can see what the park hours are. So if you do not mind I would like to add you as a friend and maybe ask you questions on the side..

Sue, you are too funny!!! I have 8 weeks to go to and am going insane with anticipation!!! You would think I would be using this time to do homework and study for my grad courses, but no I'm too busy playing around on the various Disney sites to pass the time!! :ROFLOL:

You DO need to plan another trip! How about a 4 or 5 day between Thanksgiving and Christmas? Ok, so maybe not the Grand Floridian again but hey, just to get down there, I'd stay almost anywhere. And really, the planning is at least half the trip! Book something and if it turns out you can't go, get your deposit back. We've done that and I've never been sorry, even if work issues meant we had to cancel. Get planning! :sohappy:

You can do what I did. Even though I haven't gone on my trip yet, I planned it all out months ago. So when I found out my two friends were honeymooning at Disney too, I planned theirs! It's their first time...I think they are a little scared of me now.

Oh my, DisneysRedHead, you want to talk about someone being scared. I convinced my boyfriend to go to the World next year...OCTOBER next year and I've already started planning. It'll be his very first visit (my fifth) so I can't fault him for not knowing how much planning goes into a Disney vacation. Poor guy, I ALMOST feel bad for him...hehehehehe.

Why not pre-plan your next trip. Our next trip is set for February (long ways off!), BUT, we are already thinking ahead to the following January when we will return. (length of stay, places we'll eat etc.) I love the feeling of coming home and knowing we've already got a start on the next one! :)

Hee hee Thanks! I would definitely get to MK for the opening ceremonies - I saw it for the first time this year and it was amazing. We head always head left first - get a FP for Jungle Cruise, ride the carpets, ride pirates, and then you should be able to get another FP for either SM or BTM and then ride the other. Then we head to HM and ride that, and then Small World and PP. We usually head back to Adventurland hitting our FP rides and grab lunch. But you could cut through the Castle for lunch. We then hit the rest of Fantasy Land and Tomorrow Land after lunch. We don't have kids yet so I know this path is different for everyone - due to interests and heights and stuff. I hope you have a fabulous trip!!!!!!!!

Yeah this post Disney Blues hit harder then in the past. I think b/c in the past - we have always known when the next trip will be - but this time we don't. We have no idea. We are actually looking for jobs in Orlando and are trying to relocate and it took a bit to get out of the funk! hee hee But I think i'm back to normal now!

Ha ha This made me laugh because I totally get it! Before we left for our trip, I helped a friend from work plan and I think he is afraid of me now! He had no idea what he was getting into! hee hee
