My boyfriend and I love getting to eat out when we're down ther on vacation and we think we've figured out a couple great places. And here's our biggest tip-- dinners are great and romantic and all, and i'd definitely splurge for a few nice ones like at O'Hana at Polynesian, or Yachtsman Steakhouse at The Yacht Club. Kimono's is awesome over at the Swan (or Dolphin??) it's great chic setting, sushi, really nice. But my big tip is make lunch reservations if you really want a lot of great dining experiences. Eating at like 1-3PM saves a ton of money and the food and experiences are just as great. The] Cafe at the Grand Floridian has a great lunch menu. The Wave at the Contemporary is great. Or try getting a waterside table at Rose and Crown at Epcot.
Also, great spots at Universal:
Emeril's Tchop chop (spelling?) at Royal Pacific is still one of the best meals i've ever had in Orlando...
Also, The Palm at Hard Rock Hotel is to die for.
Have fun! Planning and making dinner reservations ahead of time is one of the best parts. BTW DIsney accepts dining reservations I think 180 in advance now... i'm sure someone else on this site will definitely correct me if i'm wrong though... lol Take care!
