New aerial from bio-reconstruct. Looks like they have started to stage materials for something at one end of land.

Past the boxy things which look like storage crates, or, piles of flat.. siding?, there are cylindrical things that look like sewer/drainage pipes made out of concrete or PVC. Same piled up along the gondola route.

This gravel lot connects Boardwalk with the Fire Station. The Fire Station has a bridge over the canal going to the back stage of the Italy Pavilion.

Last month over in the permits thread, @danlb_2000 posted about a big sewer project behind DHS. It seems a bit far but could this be part of the staging for that project, in addition to staging for the many other projects in the area? It does seem like they could find closer staging areas for the sewer project, but this isn't outrageously far. Plus who knows what the next step is for this area - thought it doesn't seem like they compacted the ground very much.

But would they go through all this just for a staging area? Or do they do this often but we don't hear about it because these aren't typically in an intriguing location?

@marni1971 has said that there are long term plans for this site, so if you could clear it before the skyliner ropes are hung and then use it for some other purpose in the meantime, that is a win-win. My bet is staging for Swolphin but that's just based on proximity and no real knowledge of the plans.

So, thebground covering from the latest Bio photos today appears to include more gravel.

What if this is a fireworks launch point for the interim ROE replacement.

It would not be “long term” since it’s interim, but a gravel ground covering is similar to the DHS launch point.

The permits for the marina work that were filed this week are the same contractor as the one filed a few weeks ago to put trailers on this property.

The marina is also where they load the fireworks today correct?

Is the thought that this is just staging for a larger marina project?
