I don't think it's a landscaping thing, I have seen those walls there for at least two years now. No telling how long before that they've been there.

I don't think they're speakers as you can see the backs of them when walking around and it looks to just be a solid steal or metal wall of some sort. Actually there are a couple of them on each island.

I just don't know.

i actuallt saw them from the friendship boats circilng WSL and they looked to be made of wood and were all blocking some sort of electric equipment (lights ect) but i could be wrong

Sorry to revive a dead topic, but I'm curious to know the answer, myself, even thoguh I think I know what they are.

I'm almsot certai nthey're made of wood, to settle that dispute, and I doubt it's landscapign because they've been up for years. Now, my guess would be they block the lasers, because they have some lasers on the islands. Am I right?

No lasers on the islands - only in Mexico, Canada and America. That knocks that one off the list...

Possibly connected to / an update of the Earthglobe floats positioning system (IR)?

There are definately lasers on the island. I saw it on my last trip. About a half hour before RoE, they tested Mexico's, AA's, Canada's, and the island's laser. I saw it go right over my head.

New one on me... not on the original RoE plan. Unless its a bounced mirror and that is what the wall is for - bouncing the beam would give much more scope for effects, and give the appearence of more laser sources than they have (or paid for) - for example, Fantasmic! uses only a single laser chamber; they use optics and mirrors to bounce the single split beam to multiple firing windows.

I don't think it's just a mirror, because I coud see the laser going up from the island, but not going to the island from Mexico, AA, or Canada.

Well, I was asking a question about why the lasers are green and where the barges are located in another topic, so I just decided to search "lasers" to see if I could find the answer that way, and I came across this topic.
