Mysterious green wall on island at World Showcase

Lasers Lights...and..
The walls are usually used when they start testing sytems for ROE, they focus the lasers on them. Also there are little mirror arrays behind some of the shorter walls. You can notice the lasers hitting over in that area if the smoke is blowing over. There are no lasers on the Island, there are only 3 lasers used. One at the top of Mexico, Canada and of course USA these 3 "lasers" (Dr. Evil Style) are reflected and multiplied by mirrors on the Islands. They do test before the show either a hour or two before (not quite sure when)

Well for one, that picture was a horrible example. Second, I could swear that there were lasers there. Like I said before. If they reflected them from and AA, Canada, or Mexico laser, it would've been visible, but the only visible part was coming up from the island, not down to it. Not doubting that there are only 3 lasers, but can anyone explain this?

Ahh yes
The reason you might not see the laser aiming down is possibly a causual factor. Lasers by nature are not visible in a clear particle free enviroment. The reason a laser becomes visible is cause of particles of moisture and or smoke in the air. You will always be able to see where the laser hits like a wall cause thats the focal point, but not always the beam. Angles, smoke, and water particles can all contribute to the visibilty of a laser/ For example the beam going to a island comes from say canada, the angle of which it is traveling is directly across in front of you. When it hits a mirror and is aimed at a angle towards you but more so over your head you can see the partcicles of smoke and water in it much more clearly. Go grab a laser pointer and a smoke machine or water bottle and you will see what Im saying its all based on those factors so It can indeed look like the laser is only coming from the island. Another factor is size, the mechanics of a laser emitting device and size of a powerful laser such as the ones used in Illuminations would make it improbable to maintain and place on the island.

Yea, I already know about smoke and moisture and stuff 
. The only thing that makes me skeptical is that the way the laser pointed up, and you could only see it shining up. I don't think there can be moisture over this tiny area over the lagoon, but I guess it could be the direction I was looking and stuff, like you said.
