I see, Thank you, though I don't know, my AP expires on 11 November this year. I may or may not get it as part of the AP. even then its worth keeping or wanting.

Again, thank you. You've helped me quite a bit.

If you are part of the August Magic Band/ Fasspass+ testing, will you still recieve a Key to the World Card? I have been told by multiple sources at Guest Relations that during the testing you can still recieve regular Fasspasses in the parks, even if you are participating in the test. One of the reasons is during the testing your family, regardless of size, can only get 3 Fasspass+'s in one day. I would assume you would need a ticket to get the machine to spit out a Fasspass. I have lots of questions as to how all this testing will affect our trip. I have enjoyed the experience so far, but feel a little overwhelmed and the fact that it is still "testing" I feel there may be a lot of misinformation out there (even that provided currently by Guest Services).

Also anyone who recieved the email regarding participating in the August testing mind posting the text on the board so we can all read it? My family has not recieved our email yet, because supposedly they get sent out only two weeks before checkin. Still another week for us to go to reach that mark.

Yes, you still get a KttW card and can still use regular FP.

Great. Thanks for the info. So it seems being selected for this test is a wonderful bonus, as you get the same experience as before but 3 BONUS Fasspasses a day via the Fasspass+ testing.

Sounds good to me.

Yeah, from everything I've read and received, it appears to be a bonus for those testing it. You'll have a KttW card and a Magic Band, with access to both Fast pass options. Disney could change that at any moment, but that's the current plan.

My cousin just posted a picture on Facebook showing his daughter holding the magic band box Disney just shipped them. Looks very much as if you bought an apple product, ie iPhone or iPad

Guest profiles in the Disney computer system are going to be a complete mess. Over the years, I've established accounts on a variety of Disney websites (Disney store, DVC, D23, WDW, DCL, etc) and I've used one of two or three e-mail addresses across those sites.

When My Dis Exp rolled out, it wanted me to try and sync all my Disney accounts - which failed miserably. No matter how many times I change my e-mail address on my DVC account, it won't updated my actual login e-mail address, and thus doesn't match my WDW site credentials. So, my various accounts are still not in sync.

And imagine all the people who have signed up for DVDs and newsletters using a variety of e-mail and physical addresses in order to try to get on the PIN Code lists.

I predict that the whole MDE profile situation will be a complete disaster, and your story is a perfect example of how that's already true. I believe you got lucky that they shipped to your preferred address, because there's no telling which system has which address for you. Reservations has one, DW.com has another, and so on.

Tom, I called the Disney Internet help line (# escapes me now, but I found it on the website), and the great CM on the line was able to change over all of my on-line Disney accounts (WDW, DVC, Shopping, etc.) to use one userID and password. Only took 5 minutes. Might give that a try.

Seriously??? I must try that. You say the number was somewhere on disneyworld.com?

It's been a few months since I did this, and don't remember the exact number. I would try the Website support line at 407-939-4357 first, and tell them what you are looking to do. Good luck! Let us know how it turns out.

Went to Magic Kingdom today and went into guests relations and noticed the FP+ Resvations Kiosks I decided to try even though my FP+ should not be active till Aug 13th. Sure enough the system accepted my band and it allowed me to begin making FP+ for today. So I got to try FP+ early and I loved how it worked! To make it more interesting my friend who had no Park Admission linked to his MagicBand and was let in by a CM it allowed him to make FP+ selections too.

So, the problem here is that they don't appear to have any way of preventing any 'ol guest from hoarding FPs and stealing them from inventory. Similar to how people book too many ADRs, thus stealing opportunities from other guests. If your friend could reserve FPs without having tickets or a trip booked, that seems like a flaw.

I think they don't require tickets to be linked to the MagicBand right now because of the top pass that allows guests who buy that one into Disneyland & WDW can't link the AP to the MagicBands. So they get a fair chance to use FP+ during the tests the systems have no requirements right now.

How smooth were the kiosks? As in, how user-friendly and responsive were they? The main issue I have with the current mobile app is that it seems to be inherently unresponsive, similar to the old Facebook for iPhone curse before the app was switched to a Cocoa framework.

It worked pretty will sometimes my touch would not respond but the nice Guest Relations CM helped me out on that. Overall a very easy process to make FP+ reservations the day of! The only issue I had is I asked a few CM at FP+ entrances wheres the nearest kiosk was so I can edit the time or change experiences and they all didn't know. Sadly in this months test they didn't put a Kiosks at every FP Location that used FP+ so it wasn't easy to change times or change experiences without using the mobile app.
