I love MyMagic+
As do I.
We did a dozen trips to WDW in 10 years before MM+, and always felt we had to do rope drop. Although we often still do early mornings and emh mornings, we've been able to book fastpass+ for later in the day or evening, which allows for enjoying some mornings at the resort, on the golf course, at Disney Springs, etc.
This March, I took a group of 37 to WDW (50 ppl next year), many of whom who had never been there, and may not get there again for years. Every single person loved FP+. They really felt excited, and some peace of mind, that after spending a lot of money to travel from Canada for a week, they could be guaranteed to do 3 things each day that they were really excited to experience.

I find Magic Kingdom as a whole boring. HM is boring, POTC is boring, and I think I just don't like slow moving rides.
Bombshell dropped! You aren't the only person I know who feels this way, but I certainly don't share that sentiment. :p

I love...
Gran Fiesta Tour Starring The Three Caballeros
Universe of Energy
Spaceship Earth
Swiss Family Tree House
Tiki Room
Small World
Living with the Land...more than Soarin!
The Great Movie Ride
I also love all the greats like Rockin Rollercoaster, Pirates, Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion, etc. but the ones listed above I have to defend with my friends and family.

Also 7DMT or Peter Pan is not worth it if you have to wait! Since I have never had to wait for them I enjoy them!
I love all of those too! And agree that PPF and 7DMT aren't worth the wait!! I always FP them or get there at rope drop.

Maybe some, but French Quarter is noticeably quieter, closer, and has a ceiling fan. Game changer in the summer.

Pop/All Stars are just fine, but they are an absolute zoo. I'd actually say most deluxe are more overrated because they are 5 star prices with barely 4 star amenities. You're paying for the great location and I get that, but we are talking $600/night to be 5 minutes closer.
Oh I agree, POFQ is obviously the most coveted of the mods. It must just be the time of year I go/my touring plan because I never encounter any issues at values. Wake up early, come back late, hardly anyone in sight!

I don't mind how many IP projects make it into Epcot. Having beloved or at least recognizable characters makes the park friendlier. My Dad and I were there on opening day when none of the familiar Disney characters were there, and we thought, "Epcot is okay, but no need to come again." Now it's been my fave place on Earth for many a year, throughout the various changes to the park.

This isn't really WDW related, but it is Disney: Disney should stop making live action versions of all its classic animated films. And they should make a Pocahontas III where she gets back together with John Smith and they live happily ever after. Screw history--the first two films were historically inaccurate anyway. Why be a stickler on that one point--that the historical Pocahontas married Rolfe and not Smith? Anyway, I see Disney's Pocahontas as being a fictional character BASED on a historical figure, not one and the same with the real life Pocahontas herself!

Adding spinners in DHS - do we really need more? Will they add one to Epcot next?
Actually the spinner can be a good thing. If you happen to take a young child to WDW who decides that any dark ride freaks them out it can be really difficult to do anything at WDW. That's the great thing about Disneyland, it has a lot of themed carnival flat rides that young children can ride. That's not the case in WDW.

I agree. Disneyland Park is a better park than Magic Kingdom but I generally prefer the other three WDW parks to DCA (yes, even Epcot and DHS in their current states) and find a visit to WDW to overall be a better experience. More to do, feels like more of a getaway, and although there is definite room for improvement in certain areas, I'm not of the mind that the things at WDW are as poor quality as a lot of others seem to think they are.
Totally agree. Although there is 1 thing that DLR has over WDW that can't go unsaid. If there is a line at he bathroom in Tomorrowland you can quickly run to Carsland and use the bathroom there.

We do too! We do enjoy staying onsite (when we can get price comfortable with) and just having the MB for everything!

And yet, I think walking the grounds of the Caribbean and the Coronado a most pleasant experience. Some of the prettier resorts areas in all of WDW.

(Pity exactly these two stand to be woefully diminished by ill-fitting new development. Nothing good in WDW remains beyond the greedy clutches of modern management)
I loved CBR pre construction! all those "it is so spread out" whines was why I LIKED it. Beautiful easy stroll in am to get coffee in a peaceful setting. Staying at CSR in August for 1st part of trip and hoping for same vibe-even with construction.

My unpopular opinion-not every ride is going to be accessible to everyone and that is OK. Sometimes it just is what it is. I grew up with a chronically ill parent, and another who ended up with a terminal illness (dad died when I was 12). If mom couldn't do something due to illness flair/WC dependent we dealt., and moved on. Great that there are so many advances in regulations in many areas, but there will always be a % not able to be accommodated, doesn't mean it is lawsuit worthy.
