Of all the 4 parks, to me, Animal Kingdom is the only one which still has a cohesive theme that (kind of) ties everything together. Epcot is just a mess with absolutely no cohesive idea at all (at least as of now), Hollywood Studios is as bland as it can be ("movies"... but mostly Disney IPs... and some Hollywood architecture mixed in there... oh, and Aerosmith as well - 'cause why not) and Magic Kingdom never really had a cohesive theme (apart from being the classical "castle park" modeled after Disneyland - random themed lands around a central hub).

Pls don't kill me :hilarious:

I have to agree that illuminations is very underwhelming and drawn out. Anytime we visit Epcot we hop to another park to see a nighttime show.

The Disney Dining Plan sucks. By getting you to prepay for your meals, the need for diverse menus and quality food kind of took a back seat. Certainly there are exceptions to this rule (some of the signature restaurants, operating participants at Disney Springs, etc), but as a whole food quality has suffered because of it. DDP also led to a homogenization of menus and sourcing. Finally, because people feel the need to get their monies worth, it has filled restaurants to the brim and removed the ability to spontaneous, forcing you to plan your days out 180+ days in advance.
I agree!

Though I have found the more popular places aren't always the best food places. So since we like things that are probably too 'exotic' for some, we have no issues planning food out at the last minute.

Not sure what they put in the foo of places like Chef Mickey's, but I don't care. It leaves our favorites easy to book :D Though I should likely stop talking about our favorites so people don't go there ;)
