My September trip - so close yet so far away,,,

We are less than 30 days!- A lot of you are going in Sept.-- is our secret out about the 0min. wait for rides???
I was extremely nuts a month ago - but now I have something to focus on- cleaning every nook and cranny of the house so it is clean for my dog sitter; I have 3 senior dogs(which I will be worried about). I am going room by room and had to create a month long agenda so I am able to accomplish all I want- (talking about OCD:hammer
as well as my completed WDW agenda- so this all keeps my mind busy- but while I'm doing it I'm listening to Live 365 and checking this forum -- all day!!!!!!:sohappy:

My DB and myself arrive at WDW Sept 8th! We have been counting down since our last visit 2 years ago! I'm dealing with the wait by getting ready bit by bit, we have ordered tickets (one milestone) last month, I have typed out my list of 'pet jobs' for the relatives the other week (another milestone). I am planning on getting the suitcases from the attic next Saturday! My excuse is that they need airing but really it makes me feel like I'm on my way! Yesterday I unfolded holiday clothes and have them on hangers on the door to get creases out! Once again I feel like I'm about to pack! I will probably start ironing it all two weeks before hand, which is now 3 weeks away! and I will probably pack one week before we leave! Hope everyone has a cool time!!!! WDW here we go!!!:sohappy:

Funny about the secret being out, we said that about 14 yrs ago how slow it is in Sept....I think people are catching on!
I think (really hope) its going to be slow. I can't believe how many ADR's are still available. If I had booked my trip today I would be able to eat everywhere I want. I'm hoping this is a good sign...

That's why I really don't offer the info to too many people, like some do on here lol. Alot of us want it to stay that way so we can all continue to go at this time whenever.
Glad to hear that so many ADR's are still available yet. I remember back in 2007, alot of the restaurants were all booked up because of the free dining. We were able to get two of them and we booked them around this time. Had we've known about the free dining going on back then, we would've booked our ADR's sooner. We booked every place this time and we're able to get what we wanted.melinda525

We are not actually going until December but I cannot stop thinking about this trip!!! Noone wants or cares to hear about it other than me I booked our trip so long ago and made all the dining reservations 180days exactly. I can't possibly look at my itinerary any more than I already do! It's all very silly but I'm fine with that. I love Disney, and the only thing I love more than going to disney is planning my trip. But yes, the anticipation is sooooo hard. Have a great trip everyone going in September!

I keep Disney stations playing from LIVE 365 on the computer. Makes me feel like I'm in the park. Currently listening to MouseHouse Radio.

Count me in too. We're going Oct. 12th and it might as well be next October. Seems FOREVER away! As we get closer, I start looking for things on sale to take with us like shampoo, double A batteries, etc. The week before I go...forget it. Work is like the worst punishment ever created and time can not crawl by any slower.

Believe me I know the feeling. We just got back a week ago from our trip and I know I will be back but next July feels like an eternity at the moment. I think part of the fun is the anticipation and the planning of it all. And I have forever to do so with my trip. That being said when everything is planned and I find myself in the whole waiting period. I do a few things.
1. Visit sites like this.
2. Catch up on things.
3. Close my eyes and dream/picture myself there.

Oh I know what you mean! We arrive at our DTD hotel Sept 10th and then check into Poly next morning and I feel like Im gonna explode! LOL! I keep scouring all my fave boards to tide me over and starting next weekend Ill start buying things I need for the trip and even packing things I dont need until the trip. Its a good thing we are driving b/c my list of stuff to buy keeps growing! LOL Not to mention my list of stuff to buy at WDW and Prime Outlet keeps growing as well! LOL
Today I will put my disney CDs back in the car and listen to them constantly in growing anticipation!

Now see you need to head on over to Mousebits.com and download yourself some "Disney resort tv loop " we have right now plaing in my car the old (dearly missed) "tip of the day" loop......Its so sad when you and your 6 and 9 year old know it by heart!!!! Good stuff though.....

I am so jealous you are staying at the Poly!!! This is the first time in many years that we are not staying there. We are staying at the BC for 2 nights and then check into the GF for 6 nights. I'm nervous I'm going to be longing for the Poly from the beach at the GF. At least we'll visiting twice to eat at Kona and 'Ohana.
