That's because you have muscle on your arms. Most people are sticks.
I haven't seen too many "sticks" rolling around WDW these days.

The people here that like the FP+ system do not care that you do not have a smart phone. After all everyone should have one (according to them) or you are a loser.I sometimes don't decide to go to Disney till the last minute. I live 3 hours away and sometimes decide that day to go to Disney and stay on property for few days. I do not own a smart phone and if they do away with the old fastpass I will be screwed and have to wait in long lines. This is not a good option since my husband can not stand for long periods! A GAC pass may or may not help. I have an annual pass but may not be renewing.
They have to use a computer, smartphone or guest relations at the park.I don't think I fully understand this system...
So eventually there will be no "Day of" Fastpasses anymore?
When you check in at your hotel...you pick them then...or earlier at home...but not available once you hit the parks?
What about non-resort guests? Do they have to choose from home prior to visiting?

Are you saying WDW guest are large boned?I haven't seen too many "sticks" rolling around WDW these days.

Your not a resort guest? Well to bad for you. That is the message from Disney Corp.
That's what they tell us they are doing "now"....Well thanks for noticing. That made my day! lol. Perhaps your right. If so, it makes me wonder how much research they did into making it comfortable for everyone. I would guess children were the main focus.
GIT EM!!!!LOL! Well me and all the other AP holders will band together and fight! I think we should get the maximum FP+ as we are dedicated to WDW given them all our money at once.
Elsewhere in this thread it was said that current Fastpass usage was something like 3.7 per guest per day. Assuming that number is correct it would be treating all parks equally. Add in the fact that they've now made it necessary to use Fastpass on more attractions the number of 3 per day seems like it will be unnecessarily prohibitive. For this current test is it 3 FP+ and as many paper FP as you can manage. Once FP+ comes online, regular FP will be decommissioned. At that point it is not clear what the FP+ policy will be. I would expect it is still to be determined.
They don't 'code the strip' when you swipe into a park. They merely show your ticket active in the system that FP uses. This is not unlike how FP+ works and it likely would/could/should hit against the same list.Unless they've coded the strip on the KttWC to be "active" in the parks already, they technically wouldn't be able to get paper FP.
We don't know that the bolded bit is accurate. The OP's related experience would suggest that it is not.I think Disney is looking at this the wrong way.
They are saying that the average guest uses 3 FPs a day. Which is most likely why they decided on that number.
The problem they are overlooking is that the average guest uses 3 FPs on the same attractions (for the majority).
Now they are grouping them so you can't use FP on all three of those attractions in a park and people will be a lot worse off than they were when it was unlimited.

I don't believe that anyone has stated that. While a smartphone makes things easiest, the kiosks, a computer, guest relations, or an internet-enabled device like an ipod touch will all get the job done, also. The people here that like the FP+ system do not care that you do not have a smart phone. After all everyone should have one (according to them) or you are a loser.
You are not a loser.
Bingo. You are on to them.I think they are looking to distribute guests more evenly across the park, not make it so everyone gets what they want.
Disney should provide the smart phones for guests to use. Then everyone will be happy, well except for Disney.I don't believe that anyone has stated that. While a smartphone makes things easiest, the kiosks, a computer, guest relations, or an internet-enabled device like an ipod touch will all get the job done, also.
Which I am sure will send guest satisfaction scores thru the roof! "Look honey! A FP for HM! I'm so glad I get this fast pass for an attraction that doesn't need it and lose out on a FP for Splash Mountain. What's that you say? Splash is a 2 hour wait? Wonderful! I really love that"I think they are looking to distribute guests more evenly across the park, not make it so everyone gets what they want.
It's great that he enjoyed it Timmy. Truly. Not joking about that. Tells me FP+ will still suck, but it might not suck quite as much. But at the same time, it's a small test. The website still has problems. The system still has problems. And a few hundred people is a lot different than thousands. And he wasnt exactly without any criticism was he?I love watching the train wreck of people who were so sure NextGen would torpedo the guest experience. They're actually upset that @disney206313 is enjoying the product because that doesn't jive with their pontificating.
