Who is this one supposed to be?
She’s supposed to be a beautiful woman inside and out empowered by a Disney-style makeover.
Likewise, I am constantly amazed by folks who get upset at the most inconsequential things that will never affect them in any way.I'm constantly amazed by the folks who (assuming unpaid) will defend each and every Disney makes whether it be good, bad, great or terrible.
The article shows her in another picture standing next to Tiana.Who is this one supposed to be?
Nobody’s upset, in the traditional meaning of the word. Nobody cares about the makeup on its own. It represents a larger change in philosophy that goes counter to all of the things many of us enjoy about theme parks.Likewise, I am constantly amazed by folks who get upset at the most inconsequential things that will never affect them in any way.![]()
That depends on the situation and when it is appropriate.Adults can have childish interests but they still shouldn't behave like children.
Small pebbles lead to big ripples. Or something along those lines. The Disney corporation is becoming less and less James Halliday and more and more Nolan Sorrento minus the murdering ("Our research shows we can lease 80% of each customer's view before inducing seizure!")Likewise, I am constantly amazed by folks who get upset at the most inconsequential things that will never affect them in any way.![]()

I will call Disney out when they offer sub-standard products and services. They are ripping people off. That's not what the parks are supposed to be about.
Oh, yeah!!!!!!! I got a million of 'em!!!That is what this board needs, more Ready Player One references.....:cool
But what about *my* needs???If these ladies are happy with their result then obviously its not a ripoff to them.

I don't think the wisest men would spend $50-$120 on THAT.a little nonsense now and then is relished by the wisest men
If your needs are no longer being met, then time to get a divorce and move on.But what about *my* needs???As in, my need for a my once-loved Walt Disney Company to stop acting like a giant carton of weasels!!!

Not as long as I can still defend what's good and right in the (Disney)land with my overblown outrage! Some day... some day I might head off, downcast, clutching to my heart a brick fragment from a recently-demolished Mr. Toad's Wild Ride. But that day is not today!!!If your needs are no longer being met, then time to get a divorce and move on.![]()
You win.As someone who has paid for a gfs day at the salon, I can say $50-120 is a bargain. So a wise man would spend that if it made his gf/wife happy.
