I wonder what's going to happen to her. We have so many people who SHOULD be locked up and are let go (Carlie Brucia story, for example) because the prisons are overcrowded/money is not there to take care of them/ etc- then you have people like her facing jail time for acting on tips. I know it's illegal but I feel like there are sooooo many more important things to worry about. *magically converts white collar jails to maximum security prisons*

Eh, I guess that's why I'm not in that line of work. I'd probably mess up the whole system.

I don't think she should go to jail either. But ya know darn well that if she doesn't, half the country is gonna point to it as an example of how the rich get away with crime. I think a hefty fine and some TRUE community service will do more good for her than incarceration.

Erika, about the Carlie Brucia killer, I wouldn't have taken him alive. There's nothing I loathe more than a pedophile. I hope they kill him in jail.

I was blessed with a safe childhood- when I hear about someone who was not so lucky, I can't help but think of his/her poor parents. There will never be any peace for them. But you're right about the Martha thing. There would be an outcry.

im torn about martha
on the one hand i do agree that its a silly reason to put someone in jail when we have sickos out there that get away with EVERYTHING...
but on the other hand...if she just didnt lie and paid the 40 thousand dollar fine (pocket change for her) then this wouldnt even be an issue
if anything
its a jail sentance for stupidity

i was thinking about buying a shirt but the guy promoting the site this morning on the Fox News Network did not say that he wasnt making profits off of the site.
so i decided my money could be better spent
