WELCOME TO THE NEW PIXAR PLACE!!!
Welcome as you enter through the same arch that is there. You are then transported into a land full of magic and wonder from your pals at Pixar! The first section you encounter is like the Emeryville campus, then you can either go right into Monstropolis, straight into Toy Story Playland, or left into A Bug's Land! Although the names are similar to names of other lands, they are completely different! Lets start with Emeyville:
As you enter this area, you are transported into the actual campus! All of the buildings are made with the signature brick style! Also, in the center of the area is a fountain with a Luxo lamp in the center. There are two major attractions in this area. They are "Pixar: A SHORT History" and "The Jobs Theater"

I will go into detail on all of this stuff and my other sections tomorrow, I'm really tired!! :D

A new detail about my Pixar Place. Inside the Toy Story part (Pizza Planet, Toy Story Mania), there would be a dead-end/alley with a restroom. On the wall of that alley/dead-end there would be a mural/big painting as an homage to the Toy Story trilogy. Here is a small map of the Toy Story portion of Pixar Place .

I also added a "d-zone" (Disney calls it that which is a place where you can sit back and relax) themed to Frozone's Freeze Zone in the Incredibles atmosphere which also serves some Icees. As well, I added a Mike+Sulley meet and greet and a new joke store in the Monsters atmosphere.

I'll say it again, this does not look like a separate land it continues the Pixar studios look (some people may be confused when I say Toy Story part). But it will have a Toy Story atmosphere (like what it currently does) around the Pixar studio look along with there being a Monsters Inc. atmosphere, A Bug's Life atmosphere, a Ratatouille atmosphere, and an Incredibles atmosphere around their respective attractions making it feel like the movies are coming out of the studio bricks.

Monstropolis

Explore the funny, but sometimes scary, streets of Monstropolis! Located where the current Backlot Tour/Lights, Motors, Action/Part of Streets of America are, Monstropolis will be a large land that guests can enter through Toy Story Avenue, but also through Pixar Animation Studios, making the land a V-shape. The streets will be completely recreated from the streets of Monstropolis. Peer into a window, and you will see a giant eyeball. Look the roof of a taller building, and see a tentacle dangling over the side. See familiar sites such as the "Grossery" and Mike's new car parked along the side of the road.

Characters will roam the streets, as if carrying on with their daily activities. You'll never know if you'll run into Sulley trying to cross the street, or Mike trying to polish his car. Even more "monsters" will be found walking the streets, interacting with guests, adding a vibrant and alive atmosphere.

Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor - This is the first attraction guests will see. The attraction will be on their left, and will have a brick theater facade with a marquee hanging over the entrance, with the word's "Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor" labeled as the show currently playing. Guests will pass the ticket booth and through the dark brick halls of the theater where funny posters that mock famous movie titles.

The show itself is generally unchanged besides the queue and facade being different and the show fitting in better than in Tommorowland. A few things will be updated, such as the quality of the screen, lighting and some in-theater special will be updated/added.

Continuing past Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, guests will see the massive Monsters Inc. Factory looming in the distance.

Mike & Sulley's Monster Adventure - Prepare to embark on a revolutionary family attraction to help save Monstropolis with the help of Mike & Sulley!

Queue - Guests will enter through the front doors of the factory and into the lobby of the factory. The lobby itself will be a exact recreation of what is seen in the film. The queue will wrap around the edges of the round room and an animatronic Celia will interact with guests. The queue will then enter the halls of the factory and will pass an animatronic Roz, which will also interact with the guests. Just past here, guests would enter the scare floor. However, something is wrong. The lights of the scare floor flicker on and off, papers and garbage litter the floor. Some doors have fallen and are broken around guests. On the main screen, a message from Henry J. Waternoose plays on repeat, warning that the factory doors have malfunctioned, causing many children from all over the world to enter Monstropolis and create mayhem by scaring the monsters. Guests pass under the screen, take a left down another hallway and enter the lobby again (there will be two lobbies, the one at the beginning, and this one. Both identical in size). However, the lobby is dark and destroyed. Many monsters seem to have fled their jobs and escaped the factory as soon as possible. Continuing through the front doors, guests will board their vehicles and embark to see what exactly is going on in Monstropolis.

Ride Experience - After boarding their vehicles, guests will make an immediate left and head down a replica of Monstropolis. However, night has fallen, and few lights are to be seen. However, children run rampant in the streets, as monsters cower in fear. Some try to climb up the sides of buildings, others try to jump from windows. The vehicle turns sharply through a destroyed wall into the "Grossery". Tony, the owner, tries to fend off multiple toddlers with lettuce. We continue through the back door and find ourselves in an alley.

Mike and Sulley animatronics try to entice kids to go back to the factory so they can get home. Sulley then looks at us and tells us that we can try to help to restore balance to the city. We pass through the dark alley and end up at another location in the streets. The CDA fills this side of town as they try to console the monsters who are in mass panic. An animatronic monster states that the children were flying and shot lasers out of their eyes to the news crew. The vehicle zips around the corner and we see Mike and Sulley rounding up the children by holding up Mike's stuffed animal, which they are enthralled with. We zip around another city corner and the sun begins to rise. The damage is on the buildings from the mass panic is very noticeable, but the monsters along side the street sigh with relief. In the distance is the Monster's Inc. factory, which we rapidly approach. We enter through the front doors, spin and twirl through the lobby which is swarming with CDA members and then we enter the scare floor. Here, Mike and Sulley load each individual door to return each child, ending the chaos. The sun shines through the windows, symbolizing a new day and a happy ending.

Guests disembark the vehicles in the locker room, as seen in the movie. Guests will continue back through another hallway, to the original, un-destroyed lobby where they first entered, and back into the normal, un chaotic streets of Monstropolis.

The interior of the restaurant will follow a tradition Japanese restaurant, just as how it was seen in the movie. At the center of the restaurant, an animatronic octopus monster will be slicing and dicing "fish" for his latest sushi creation.

*This is a full service dining option. Gluten free and vegan options are available. You will find traditional Japanese food served here. However, other, more traditional options are available for those who do not want to eat Japanese. No outside seating is available.

Pixar Animation Studios

After passing under the famous Pixar Animation Studios entrance (relocated from the old Pixar Place), guests will be a recreation of the actual Pixar Animation Studios. This "mini-land" will take over the other half of Streets of America.

Guests will walk through a street that is surrounded by brick walls and large glass windows, following the same suit of the old Pixar Place. Soundstage buildings will be visible over the tops of the roofs, giving the impression that guests are in the actual Pixar Animation Studios. Small trees, lamp posts and street signs will line the main road that guests will be walking down.

Luxo's Journey through Pixar - This will be the first attraction that guests will see, and it will be located on the left side of the street. Guests will see a glass awning with a silver statue of Luxo and Luxo Jr. on top of the awning. The ride's name will be along the edges of the awning.

Queue - Guests will pass under the awning and enter the brick hallways of the studio. Guests will see posters lining the halls, that depict images of all of the Pixar movies. Eventually, the hallway comes to an end and guests enter the animation studios itself. Guests will pass through a large, open room with glass walls on either side that showcase desks and computers and concept art of Pixar's greatest films and shorts. Eventually, guests will pass through the animation studio and enter a round, dark room, with an animatronic Luxo Jr. in the center, with a spotlight shining on him. John Lasseter's voice echoes through the room, asking guests how great it would be to take a tour through the greatest Pixar shorts of all time. As guests near the other end of the room, they enter the loading area, where they board their vehicles and begin their journey with Luxo through all of the Pixar shorts.

Ride Experience - The vehicle enters a dark tunnel, with John Lasseter narrating some history of how the first short came about. Soon, guests exit the tunnel and enter the first show scene, The Adventures of Andre and Wally B. The scene itself is modeled completely after the short itself. An animatronic Andre and Wally B interact with one another as seen in the short. John Lasseter narrates how this started it all and the inspiration behind it. The ride carries through 12 more show scenes, before encountering the final one, La Luna. Guests are surrounded by water that is on either side of the track as they move through the night sky. A giant moon lies just above their heads, as the little boy and father help sweep the stars. A single ladder reaches down from the moon to the boat. Lasseter describes this short, just as he did the others. Eventually, the ride enters another dark tunnel, as Lasseter thanks us for joining him on our grand tour of the Pixar Shorts. We enter the same loading area, and exit our vehicles on the other side of the loading area, before taking a quick walk back to the streets of Pixar Animation Studios.

Technical Information

- No height requirement is necessary for this attraction. Pregnant women and children may ride.

- Each vehicle has two rows, with four seats in each row. The back row is slightly higher up than the first row, giving back row guests a better view. The vehicle moves at a constant slow pace. Each vehicle is equipped with four speakers, that project the narration, sound effects and music. A single lap bar goes over each row.

- There are 14 show scenes in the ride, showing each Pixar short.

As guests continue down the short, but sweet Pixar Animation Studios street, they will find Pixar: From Computer to Screen on the left hand side of the street.

Pixar: From Computer to Screen - A nice walk through attraction that has a small exhibit for each movie, showing concept art, the inspiration, the process of creation, etc. At the end of the museum, a small exhibit showing off the next short/movie will be able to guests.

As guests exit Pixar Animation Studios, they have the option to go straight towards LucasLand, turn to Muppet Studios, or head down Commissary Lane.

Pixar Land at Disney's Hollywood Studios will be able to immerse guests in some of Pixar's greatest creations, then show them where it all was done. Toy Story Avenue, Monstropolis and Pixar Animation Studios are all there for guests to explore.

Ok some criticisms: Why are Andy's toys in the grim Sid's house, IMO that ruins the atmosphere? You gotta find a time period and stick to it for Monstropolis, are they still afraid of kids or not because the laugh floor and your LPS ride contradict if they're supposed to be in the same time continuum.

If you have watched the first movie, Andy and Buzz both end up there. I thought it would be an interesting location for a Meet & Greet, especially with the lighting and such. And I did not think about that for Monstropolis. Good observation, but I don't think it's a major flaw because in the movie it covers both "time continuums", so it would be neat see both aspects of the movie: during the time of fear and during the time of humor. But yeah, I'm sure it would confuse some guests.

Here it is: The new Pixar place!

This is picking off where I left off last time, and I will now describe to you the rides of the Emeryville campus. The first ride, Pixar:A SHORT History, is where TSMM is and some of the building next to it.
Queue: you enter through giant double doors into the Pixar building. It looks like it really does in real life. There will also be the occasional gags.
Pre-show: you enter a room that has the words J. Lasseter printed on them! You are entering John Lasseter's office! Here you find a state of the art projection of John, and he then tells you about the journey that you will go on. He says that you will be taken through some of the most memorable shorts that Pixar has ever made! He gives the safety spiel, and then you are off!
Ride: the rid technology is the vekoma Pandora's box system. The whole ride is narrarated by Lasseter, by the way. You strap in and then you are off! You start by going to a scene based on Andre and Wally Bee. It is a screen where you fly along with Wally trying to escape Andre! Thenyou go to For The Birds, where you are on the line with the birds, but you know what will happen. The big bird gets off the line, and you go flying! You literally fly into the next scene, Knick Knack. You are in a snow globe with the snowman, but then you fall! You fall into the next scene, Lifted. You are then looking at the man in the bed peacefully sleeping, but then you are dragged up, up, and away into the alien ship! They find you were not their target, so they throw you out of the spaceship! But luckily you have a parachute, because you then go soaring over la Luna, as you see them sweep the stars! You then land and are back at the campus.
Post show: before you get out of your vehicles, you see a screen where Lasseter tells you you can explore lands from 3 of Pixars best movies!
Gift shop: you exit into a unnamed gift shop that sells Pixar logo items

Jobs Theater: in the remaining parts of the empty building, there will be a theater that shows different things weekly, ranging from movies to the Pixar story! There will be show times for the shows.

Pixar Pals Fun!: A meet and greet where you meet some Pixar characters that aren't represented in the land itself. It is where the woody's and buzz m & g is and the little shop

Next up, Monstropolis!

Monstropolis will be in another post based on the massive scale of it!

MONSTROPOLIS!

Welcome to Monstropolis! It would be located to the right of the backlot area. You start by walking down Main Street, where it is just like the movie. Need a quick bite, grab a snack at the Grossery! Also, you can take a walking tour of Mike and Sully's apartment! At the end of the street, you see the factory! There, there are two attractions, a relocated laugh floor, and a cab tour of Monstropolis!

Laugh Floor- pretty much the same

Monstropolis Cab inc.- take a frantic ride in a cab through Monstropolis!
Queue- inside the factory, you are walking through the line for a cab. Visual gags are throughout the queue, along with tv's that are airing the local news with a bunch of funny news.
Ride- Enter a cab and you are off! It starts as a relaxing tour of the city, but then there is a major power outage that turns out all the lights! You then have to laugh at all of the gags that you pass from the monsters! Then the power is restored because of all of your laughter, and you are a hero! You see a camera man that works for the newspaper, and he takes your picture before you leave. After you get out, you see a copy of the newspaper and it has your picture on it, with the headline: HEROES SAVE THE CITY!

Also, there will be a Harryhousens that serves sushi, and there is an AA octopus that "makes" your food!

Up next, Toy Story Town!
