"Must Do Disney" Being Updated?

I completely forgot about this until just now, so sorry if this was posted before. I looked but didn't see anything.

After the 40th ceremony I decided to go over to MGM for the rest of the day. While I was sitting outside Star Tours, I noticed a small film crew walking around. They picked a few guests and filmed them all together shouting "#5 Star Tours" and then gave them all little mini-oscars. They were being followed by a Disney escort, so I assume it was real and not new Streetmosphere act.

My first thought was it was for the resort tv, but maybe it was for some other travel show. I'd love for the resort tv loop to be replaced, I'm getting really tired of Stacy!

Anyone know anything?

I hope they keep Stacy. That's the first thing I do when I arrive is watch a few minutes of Stacy to get into my vacation.

I actually like Stacy, but how old are the resort loops now? It seems like they are 4-5 years old almost. I think it is time for a change.

I certainly hope that they are replacing the resort tv countdown list. They have played the current one for so long. Not to mention that fact that I am extremely annoyed by Stacy. Her voice is like nails on a chalkboard in my head.

The Disney "Must Do" list is like "here's some big attractions - but we'll also mention all the other attractions in the parks as well...so really - do everything" lol. And I enjoy it - makes me excited for the days ahead of Disney park-ness.

But it definitely needs upgraded. Stace...sorry honey - the sun has set on your time here. Time for a fresh face and new dialogue and new ride shots. I'm looking forward to seeing a change!

I also think Disney is stupid not to have a resort station that covers all the resorts on property.

I SO agree with you! That video pretty much sums up my childhood. I used to watch that thing on loop and have the 'zip-a-dee-doo-dah, tip-for-today' tune in my head all day

Maybe my memory is skewed because I was younger then, but the old loops with the tours of the parks seemed to be a lot longer, maybe an hour or so. The current loop with the "Must Do's" is about what, 10-15 minutes?? (Anyone have more accurate times?) I think that is the worst part. Whenever you turn on the channel, its just very repetitive. With the old channels, I could watch them longer while falling asleep because it wasn't so short!

Disney constantly updates the "Must Do" program. We were there for the first day of Food & Wine this year, and it had a Food & Wine 2011 segment in it that day.

We happen to like Stacey, but I can understand how others may not like the "enthusiasm."

Even the previous versions of the Stacy ResortTV loop were longer. I think they were about 30 min. The most recent version which has Stacy walking in that studio/blue screen room as opposed to hosting on location is way too short and I get sick of it by the end of my first day.

I usually end up putting on the DVC channel or the Spanish language version just to not see the same 15 shots over and over again.

I'm all for updating the video and I happen to like Stacey. As long as the update takes out the segment showing a moving Yeti until it's fixed, I'm all for it.

I love Stacey! I've actually emailed with her a handful of times and she's really nice! I prefer her top 7 countdown compared to must do Disney. The must do is too short and seems hastily put together. Top 7 seemed like more of a well organized half hour program.
