Muppets

Well, not really... There wouldn't be a security guard chasing them or an animated Mickey Mouse. And the Muppets would actually go on rides (the only one in the special who wanted to go on rides was Beauregard).

And Pepe, Bobo and Walter would be there.

But, that's what made the Muppet adventures A Show in itself. I still enjoy the special because apparently this version of WDW is special as the DHS Front Gate is the "Main Entrance" To the entire Parks...Remember they broke into the park (Thanks to Animal) because they were broke..And somehow got to MK & Epcot with no problems at all...

If they did it in a way where they had the characters going to the parks but, talking to guests like Kermit did for the PoTC screening a few years ago....

It Would be quite fun to watch..Like Kermit goes to MK, Bunson & Beaker at Epcot, Piggy at DHS, Gonzo & Rizzo at Animal Kingdom...Etc..

Is the Muppet Mobile Lab dead and buried or is there chance it could be revived? It tis a shame that more hasn't come of the Living Character Initiative.

According to the Muppetwiki it's last appearance was at HKDL in 2013 for the Disney Dreamers Everywhere event..

Too bad. The length of time it hasn't been used would indicate it is gone. I did a search on Living Character Initiative to see if there was any news I had missed and found that back in 2013 I started perhaps the least popular thread in the history of news and rumors or general discussion.

I think I know what the main problem with Muppets Most Wanted is, at least in my opinion. No heart.

The first movie, while it was no means perfect, had heart. The Muppets cared about each other, and at the end it's revealed that they DO have fans. Muppets Most Wanted begins by making fun of that. The Muppet fans at the end of the first movie are revealed to be "paid extras". Nobody will come to the Muppets' shows unless Ricky Gervais pays them. The Muppets (besides Animal and Walter) don't care if Kermit has had his identity stolen because with him out of the way, they can do whatever they want (the apology scene at the end is also incredibly forced, especially considering that the only one to say he was sorry was Walter).

No wonder I felt bored watching Most Wanted. I almost fell asleep when they got to Germany.

It felt too rushed. It was similar to Muppets from Space....And apparently they never reflect that movie being a part of the muppet films as Bunson said in the song Were Doing a Sequel..

Bunsen: I don’t mean to be a stickler
But this is the seventh sequel to our original motion picture

It should be 8....
The Muppet Movie
The Great Muppet Caper
Muppets Take Manhattan
Muppet Christmas Carol
Muppet Treasure Island
Muppets from Space
The Muppets
Muppets Most Wanted

Weird huh?

No it's right? The Muppet Movie was the Original Motion Picture. Followed by Caper, Manhattan, Carol, Island, Space, Re-Boot, and Most Wanted which makes 7.

Another problem? Fozzie. It was a missed opportunity. He's Kermit's best friend, how awesome would it have been if he knew from the start that Constantine wasn't Kermit and led Animal and Walter (I think Gonzo and Scooter should've been included here, too) on an epic quest to thr gulag to save Kermit?

Too bad they gave the script to people who think Fozzie is stupid (I'm serious. One of them flat-out called him stupid in an interview). He's NOT. Naive, sure, but he's not an IDIOT.

(As you might have guessed, Fozzie is my favorite Muppet. His characterization in Muppets Most Wanted, therefore, gives me another reason to despise the movie)

The biggest missed opportunity is that they should have had him wrestle Constantine and at some point his hat gets knocked off, and then everybody can't tell which one is which, a call back to the running gag in The Great Muppet Caper.

For those curious, this is the interview where the writer referred to Fozzie as "stupid":

I'm pretty sure most people don't quite understand what an internet troll is.

Protip: If a debater actually believe what they are saying and their prime purpose is not to agitate, they are not a troll. They are passionate. Trolls say whatever to agitate people. Agitation is the point. If a person is genuinely trying to make a point, they can be right, wrong, crazy, passionate, whatever.... but not a troll.

There is a difference.

Calling someone a troll is however an ad hominem attack. ...lazy way of debating.

All a matter of personal opinion my friend. You don't particularly care about it, so it's OK for it to go. How would you react if I said that I really didn't care that much about HM? Would you be pleased if I advocated to bring in the wrecking ball and open up that area for a M&G. You are not the only person on the planet, your tastes shouldn't, anymore then mine, dictate what others would like to see.

For example, I would take one Muppet Theater in exchange for ten Star Wars. I have absolutely no interest in anything Star Wars related and never had. That doesn't mean that I don't think it should be included in the discussion. I'm not that self involved.

PS... I do like HM and go to it every visit, but, it has been literally years since I last took a ride on IASW. Nothing in the park has been more static then that one and I know that it is a "staple", I just don't waste my time on it. So taking your stance, I should feel that it be made into a much smaller world to the extent of it doesn't exist anymore. However, I guess, for me it already doesn't exist and I have no trouble whatsoever, just walking by it.

it just needs a refurb and it is back on top. its fun but the 3d is old tech that needs an upgrade and the show context needs to be freshned up. I never miss the show when I am there. I think when the muppet show airs on TV again that will be the catalyst for the new changes.

I don't know. WDW seems to react a bit slower to television, if at all. For instance, they just now put in something for Once Upon a Time as the successful show is about to enter it's FIFTH season.
