So now I’m wondering if Star Tours was rethemed outside as a west coast production facility for Stark Industries could we have a contrived home for a US version of HKDLs Ironman ride?

While it would be interesting I don’t think it is possible for DHS as Iron Man is part of the Avengers Family, and neither for Disneyland as Marvel is coming to DCA

To be very clear, I know that you pointed it out, but it obviously can't be stated enough, Iron Man is NOT, NOT, NOT coming to DHS.

Photo update as of Saturday, November 18, 2017. The new walls and gate under construction at the end of Muppet Courtyard. The new wall completely blocks the area, from the exterior wall of Mama Melrose's to the Muppet Theatre exit. Behind the wall and the new gate will be a backstage area.

I haven't kept up recently so I have no idea what this is supposed to be for. Third entrance to SWL? Backstage entrance? Are they leaving the Apt building?

Mostly back stage for SW:GE:B.

Dang! Once Star Wars is an obvious mega-hit, they will have to keep expanding. Replacement shows and hopefully facade overhauls throughout the park will come first. The sheer amount of development in Orlando is fantastic.
The best part is the Muppets are sticking around for at least the upcoming years!

Photo update as of Saturday, December 2, 2017. At the end of Muppet Courtyard, the left side of the new wall has been painted, next to the exterior wall of Mama Melrose's. The gate has been attached to the frame. The Muppet Theatre exit is just to the right of the photo.

The walls are down and the fountain is running but not finished. It is currently blocked from full view with those temporary bushes on wheels.

Also, the construction wall is down at the exit of Muppet-Vision.

That's probably why it's still covered, they haven't finished installing all of the characters.
