If this were to happen, would it go into an existing shop or get a shop all of its own. I have no idea how big it would be, but could you see it replacing Pizza Planet?

i remember reading about this when they first started selling them.... and i want one.. but i'm am a poor college student and a $100 puppet just doesnt seem like a solid investment... :(

Actually that isn't that outlandish. I'm actually a puppeteer and $100 may seem steep for a puppet, but it's actually not. My mother bought me a fairly cheep frog puppet at a competition that cost $80. $100 for a custom one is actually decent, assuming it's a decent quality one...

I for one would be very interested in getting one.

I actually bought two of these as Christmas gifts from the FAO site back in November when you could do the full build on-line and they shipped right to you fully completed. About a week after I ordered mine, they switched to ordering the design kit only vs. building it online which I think they are still doing.

While it's certainly a little pricey, the quality of what I received was absolutely worth every penny of it. They are very well made, including a fully foam-stuffed body, arms and head that holds up very well to use. They come in a cylindrical clear vinyl bag with backpack style straps which make it easy for the owner to carry it along. If I recall, they were all about 18" or so tall

It even includes a slot in the left hand and the metal rod necessary to control the left arm while your right hand is controlling the mouth.

Very cool, and very much recommended by this Muppet fan.

Online was back up for about a month but is down again. Do to popularity.
I love just going on there and playing with the options.
