Muppets in Dino-Rama? I can only imagine how they could make that work.Dino-Rama.
As intricate a a small picture can be, the true beauty of the painter's plans come to life in the bigger picture. Even when individual shades of blue, red, green, or even magenta can make smaller aspects of a painting seem bad, the entirety can, and is a masterpiece.

I meant the actual Muppets...not the Dinosaurs that happen to be from the Jim Henson's Muppet Workshop.Really?
Dino-Rama is different than Dinoland...Well, you italicized the word GREEN. And you went out of your way to mention MAGENTA.
So, given what others have said here & trying to connect the dots.
Bye, bye DinoLand USA, hello Animal (the magenta colored Muppet) who WILL indeed spearhead a role/area in Animal Kingdom (Disney's green park).
They were created, owned and operated by an outside vendor (Daniel Deutsch). MML is a Disney creation. What about Wes Palm or PIPA?
Speaking of plans for DAK i'd have to think they'd want to cram zootopia somewhere in there. This is not meant to start a rumor, but a certain drummer happens to share a name with a muppetless park. . . Too bad none of the other Muppets are based on Animals. If only there were plans for a certain area of the park nearly no one cares for. . .
This is all supposition on my part but I always thought that it was both.
The voice actor and interactivity was controlled backstage, while the actual motion of the unit was controlled PUSH-like by someone in the crowd. And since that person doesn't have to be close enough to hear Guests talking and interact with them like PUSH's helper did, they just need to be close enough to see to move the thing around like a remote control car from a distance. Possibly with an earpiece so that the actor can instruct him to turn the unit around. (Or the actor might even be able to do minor movements like turning in place themselves)
I just don't see how they could safely have someone backstage maneuver the unit through the park using only security cameras along the route and the on-board cameras. If you're curious, I'd look around while the Lab is making its large moves through the park.
Also, I'm soooo happy it's back. I can't wait to see this in person in a couple weeks!

We can only hope you can decipher the secret message. That you can make some kind of connection ... maybe even a rainbow connection.I am hard at work trying to figure out the secret message here.
The 2011 Winnie The Pooh movie underperformed, and Disney didn't pull Pooh and friends from the parks.
It should also be noted that Disney Junior is still running the "Muppet Moments" segments.
Which is a shame since that caused Disney to abandon 2-D animation. That Pooh movie had the poor misfortune of going up against a certain boy wizard if I recall correctly. Pretty easy way to ensure your movie gets a small turnout.
It isn't running to a published schedule unfortunately, so it is a case of frequently checking the area behind Spaceship Earth. Are there specific times this is out to watch? I didn't see anything listed in MDE so I wasn't sure if it had set times or you just have to be in the right place at the right time?

Hmmm ... Zoot is blue, Floyd Pepper is magenta, Animal is red, and Dr. Teeth is green. If only you had also listed yellow, since that is Janice's color, one could of thought you were hinting at something with Dr. Teeth and Electric Mayhem. As intricate a a small picture can be, the true beauty of the painter's plans come to life in the bigger picture.
