MSEP ending at Disneyland on Sept 1, WDW return in 2023?

I love the MSEP and would be happy to have it back at WDW (over the nothing that is there now), but if TDO were going to go to the trouble of shipping a parade from Anaheim, why in the world would it not be PTN, which is superior would be new for the resort?
Knowing how poorly the second half of the Pleasure Island float didn't survive it's trip back to DL after it's last venture to WDW. I doubt Disneyland fans would allow MSEP back to WDW.

The current state of the Pinocchio section feels not as energetic as a result. Currently Pinocchio and the Donkey Boys have a choreography dance now that only the Clown Float only survives.

Considering the last time Disneyland "loaned" WDW its set of MSEP units the parade came back in shambles...

I wouldn't count on the parade being shipped back.
The Pinocchio section got the worst treatment, at least the other floats survived.

That title goes to Spectromagic ending unceremoniously in Summer 2010.
the pain my soul felt when i heard spectromagic was destroyed shattered my poor disney heart for years. i'm STILL salty.

i'd LOVE for them to eventually make their own spectromagic 2.0 -- reuse the music, some of the aspects. oooh it'd be AMAZING.

i guess in general i wouldn't be horrified if msep came back, but how many times can it travel back and forth before it has more and more of it destroyed? and i'd much rather them make something original than just getting MSEP back

It would be nice if the park got a new nighttime parade that celebrated The Magic Kingdom park and included floats like the haunted mansion, pirates, tianas bayou adventure, jungle cruise, space mountain, it's a small world etc eventually ending with a castle float.

It would create a nice little retrospect of all the stuff you had seen/done that day. Plus, if they get a load of characters that appropriately fitted the theme of each float, then again you get a great interaction with the crowd :)

I wonder if MSEP/PTN /even Magic Happens will geet any mention at D23???

I still don't Understand why DLR and HKDL after COVID are not interested in PTN????? Flights Of Fantasy is not even back at HKDL!

Why all the hate for MSEP. IT is far superior to Spectro and a parks staple since 1972. Also, MSEP would be much better than the parade that is rolling down the street at night now..... As I have always said, something is better than nothing. Also, everything is changing in the parks and most changes under Cheapak are very cheaply done. Having something from the past come back for a little while would be a welcomed return, especially since it looks like they upgraded it.

Because WDW once had it's own electrical parade.

Yes. Called MSEP. Yes, the MK version has since be lost - have we ever found out exactly what happened to it? Lost at sea? Or is it sitting somewhere in Hong Kong? - but it’s disingenuous to act like MSEP never was a MK parade. Borrowing DL’s version of MSEP is a much more recent phenomenon.

This 100% I'm not sure why people keep forgetting parade histories. WDWs 1977 version was made for MK at WDW and that was the parade that ran for 14 years the first time. Almost as long as Spectro ran total.

Both of which are dead and gone and instead of relying on another parks hand me downs THE MOST POPULAR AND PROFITABLE theme park in the world should get its own brand new parade. Getting this back is yet again another sign that Disney does not care for their Florida property as much as their international parks or their California park. Every castle park in the world (other then DL Shanghai) has received a brand new electric parade since MK got one.
